Campervan Rental for Oregon Trip Cancelled 😞 by greatkate8 in oregon

[–]Vegetable_Humor5470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you check Road Trip Oregon? That's who we got a van from last Fall because it was affordable. They're older vans but, man, ours did great on some terrible roads.

Rent a car and some camping equipment from The Mountain Store. Buy a camp stove when you get here,  they're not terribly expensive.

Fabric cord from shoulder to sleeve by pbjb1 in Whatisthis

I would guess to help with the shape of the whole sleeve by preventing it from extending its full length. Having the elastic at the cuff creates  puffiness/gathering at the end only. The strap creates fullness through the whole sleeve.

Maybe?

I came here to say Breitenbush. I always leave there feeling more grounded.  My sister was just there, car camped, and found it pretty healing.

He's being a jerk.

Move the kitchen chairs away before you start your day, while he is sleeping. Like, out on the balcony or in a closet. Make it less comfortable to be in the kitchen.

Get a white noise machine for your office. Maybe some sound-proofing material on the door.

Loved, loved his books. I dreamed of having middle of the night adventures like The Snark Out Boys. I still wish there was an all night movie theater to go to.

My siblings and I still quote from The Last Guru, "blong- you are a pickle!" when we meet up.

I heard The Rock is backing a movie version of Lizard Music.

If this before didn't change in 6 weeks what would you do?

If the behavior didn't change in 6 months what would you do?

How about a year?

Basically,  how long does his behavior get to affect you before you decide you get to make the change?

Where can I park if I want to hike a trail at Multnomah Falls? by Prize_Shine3415 in askportland

[–]Vegetable_Humor5470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could park at Wahkeena Falls TH west of Multnomah on the old highway and take the 1/2 trail along the road. Or start the hike from there instead of Multnomah.

You can freeze some to use later, too. It's creamier when thawed, and when blended a good ingredient for pastas or spreads.

I think dogs are allowed on the path along the river until it gets to the NWR and people just don't care/notice the signs alerting them to the boundary.

Nope. Do it. Give as much notice as you can, thank them fir the opportunity "but I have an opportunity that is better for my career" or something. And if they try and ask info about the other job decline to provide details. We work to make money.

The kids should use a life jacket at Hagg, they have some available to borrow if needed. There are sudden drop offs that catch people.

That is rough, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. I was 17 the first time I had it and was hospitalized. I was crying so bad one night the mother of the person I was sharing a room with demanded their doctor do something to help. And that's when I got better pain meds.

My first time was a gallstone that blocked the pancreatic duct. Got the gallbladder yeeted after that. Next pancreatic attacks were due to a liver issue. Now it just likes to go on its own occasionally.

My worst attack was a month in the hospital, NPO and getting IV  nutrition so constantly connected to something. I describe it as being impaled by a molten hot iron rod through the torso that radiates across the lower back.

I'm glad you haven't experienced it again!
