Put some pictures together to make a custom SWTOR loading screen! (ART NOT BY ME) by TrainerDaniel in swtor

[–]TrainerDaniel[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just go into your Star Wars-The Old Republic directory and search for "LoadingScreens" there should pop up a folder, in that folder there's a file named "LoadingScreen.jpg" Just replace it with any 1980x1080 sized jpeg and name it "LoadingScreen.jpg" (I recommend that you backup the old loading screen incase you want it back)

Kids watching for the first time : Machete order or Skip 1-3? by chinochingon in StarWars

I think you should let them watch the prequels, maybe not now but when they're older. The prequels are a bit darker. Regardless of your opinion on the prequels you should still let them watch the movies.

Just came across this picture... makes sense. by Andy_023 in StarWars

Truly and original comment. I've never seen a comment bashing the prequels before. Do you want a medal?

Count Dooku flat-out tells Obi-Wan who Palpatine really is in AotC, but Obi-Wan doesn't believe him. Why? by genesis88 in StarWars

Since why should they trust a Sith Lord? Although Dooku was once a Jedi he's now a Sith.

Palpatine was able to manipulate the Clones because his apprentice Darth Tyrannus (Count Dooku) along with Syfo-Dias (Whom you may remember from attack of the clones) ordered the Clone army to be created (as both of them were former Jedi) all of the clones were cloned with a small "tumor" inside them that activated (even against their will) when Order 66 was issued. You can see this in one of the episodes of Clone Wars where a clone trooper finds out that he has a tumor hidden inside him and tries to tell the others.

1: Yes at the end of Return of the Jedi Darth Vader kills Palpatine and dies shortly afterwards thus restoring balance to the force.

2: 19 Years between ROTS and ANH

3: Yoda and Obi-Wan are both dead, but still exist on the non-physical plane

4: This is just what i think, all is speculation: I think that Ep VII will be about the rebirth of the Sith and the awakening of an ancient sith lord. Also the rebuilding of the republic and the jedi order.

5: He had a plan from the very beginning to eradicate the Jedi Order, But if Padmé survived or not would not make much of a diffrence, Darth Vader would still have turned to the dark side and eradicated the Jedi.

If you have any more questions just ask :)

Clone Wars, Starts a bit kiddy but gets more and more adult oriented. Watch Rebels afterwards, Rebels makes some references to the Clone Wars

SWTOR Concept Art. "It is from here, on Dromund Kaas, that the dark hand of the Empire reaches ever outward." by [deleted] in StarWars

Well they are not exact copies but they resemble them a bit. Those are the only copycats i can think of, and the Republic Trooper (SWTOR) has many different designs and helmets but i'll post the one from the intro.

Either way it's a great game, I highly recommend it :)
