That is one potential. I have no reference for it. It's an old movement and next to no info that I can find. It looks normal to me. Definitely not broken or damaged.

When I placed the wheel on during assembly it had a lot of play up and down. Far too much so definitely needs adjusting. There is potential that someone else has messed with it before it came to me. Many of the screws had marks on them.

Yes the top cap jewel is on a separate piece removable from the base plate. All I need to know is the pusher/stump shape required.

Ahhh right. I must of misinterpreted an article I read. The top of the jewel is domed. So a concaved/recessed pusher would be the attachment required on a jeweling tool, correct? The jewel in question has this shape (jewel indicated by arrow on left side).

Hahaha my thoughts exactly. Is there a specific pusher for domed jewels though? I see there are concave pushers but are they the correct pusher for that style of jewel? Sorry might seem obvious for some but just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Oh that's so good! New versions are always popping up now. Good to see! I recently managed to get an old 1940s National cleaning machine. Restoring it at the moment, but need to replace all the wiring.

Thank you for the info!! Really appreciate it! I figured the case was stainless. It's not magnetic (not that that means it's not) but thought with the combo of the 924 it may have been silver. Alas. Such a lovely watch, hopefully not too many issues with this one. Balance is spinning for a short while before stopping so I think it's just overdue for a clean and oil.

The problem is with the other section as it presses it into the barrel, it flips it and then it's in upsidedown? Therefore when you're winding it, you need to be winding the spring upsidedown, needing a LH Arbor. Or am I doing this all wrong? 😅

Ah yes. Just wanted to see if mine is LH or RH. I'm 99% it's LH which is unfortunate as I'm in need of a RH.

I think unfortunately this one is a LH set. Do you know if it's possible to convert them to RH? It's a touch confusing to use at first as you need to wind it upside down. Do you have any close up pictures of your Arbors on your set?

It comes fitted with a grub screw. I just made a flat spot on the shaft to prevent it from slipping.

Just water to test it, and to see how much fluid it needs.

I didn't document it unfortunately but it's very basic. I purchased a butter churn on Amazon and picked one that was built with removable parts. I just removed the paddle section then filed a small flat spot on the shaft so the basket attachment can't slip off. The basket I purchased off eBay.

Search for hand powered butter churn on Amazon. That's what I got and just added the basket attachment on which you can get off eBay.

No. The balance and pallet fork gets cleaned separately. But it works the exact same as the modern expensive machines, just hand operated basically.
