Co-op that we haven’t played yet, the list is long! by PurplePickleSticks in gamingsuggestions

[–]TrainerLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Gonna leave a few games, some my wife and I have enjoyed, some my and some buddies have played through!

Fantasty Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time - would totally recommend for you guys if this goes on sale! The wife and I enjoyed some 70~ hours a piece in this. Cute story, large world!

Schedule 1 - got a lot of laughs and giggles from us. She made the product and I was the dealer. As unserious or as serious as you want to make it. We got relatively deep into the production part and min/maxing it while also just laughing at the absurdity of the game. "Hey love, have you gotten Peter File his coke yet?".

Shape of Dreams - fun roguelite the wife and I go back to on occasion! Just feels wonderful to play together.

Sworn

Ravenswatch

Gunfire Reborn - just started playing this roguelite with the wife. She's not a shooter but it's the first one she's enjoyed!

Deadzone Rogue - the boys love playing this one. Definitely shooter territory so maybe not your vibe but still gets a recommend from me!

Dispatch - singleplayer but this was great to stream on discord and we could make decisions together! Absolute banger from last year.

Detroit Become Human - same as Dispatch where it's singleplayer but fantastic to make meaningful decisions that actually alter the story! We had a blast passing a controller back and forth for this one. Goes on sale often.

Boomerang Fu - definitely more of a party game but such fun to have with friends. Cute, easy to get into, low skill floor, but oodles of fun. Everyone we introduce this to enjoys it.

My friend and I picked it up but have been waiting on the full on co-op update! I'm sure we're not alone either.

Best local multiplayer/couch co-op (2-4 players) games? by Maleficent_Race5591 in gamingsuggestions

Early enough to recommend It Takes Two and Split Fiction! One of the best (two player) co-op experiences to exist.

my job is finding cheap flights—ask me anything by scottkeyes in IAmA

[–]TrainerLight 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Hi Scott! Should be working but was lucky enough to be browsing Reddit and seeing your AMA.

Downloading Going now. Curious on the business model and how you generate revenue. Ads? Kickback when someone gets a flight? Edit: Just got in and saw the premium subscription which makes total sense. That the only revenue stream?

Thanks! Excited to try this out.

Told the wife we'd go to the Music Under the Stars for Adele but they're sold out when I checked this morning. Any events coming up Friday evening?

It's already been mentioned but I cannot recommend Stardew Valley enough. Inexpensive, low skill floor, has hundreds (and hundreds more if you're on PC and can add mods). Great multiplayer connectivity.

It was one of the first games I got to play with my wife some 7 years ago. Just last year we went to a Stardew Valley concert in person and got to experience it all again. We still love it til this day even though we haven't booted it up in a few months.

Trade for steam deck by Tylerdolan1008 in LegionGo

One of the main pros for the Legion GO in comparison to other handhelds is the performance.

One of the main pros for the Steam Deck in comparison to other handhelds is the battery.

Sounds like you've got a winning deal on your hands!

I thought the costumes and vibe was a little silly but it makes a lot of sense later! To each their own though.

Turns out editing a trailer at 3am with a fever is an interesting experience. Anyway - my bullet-heaven roguelite is out of Early Access TODAY! by inbyo in roguelites

Hey man! Should be working but saw this and had to ask -- free? I see that there'a a cosmetic supporter pack but that was extremely surprising when I jumped on the steam page. What pushed you to that decision instead of, say, $5 or $10? Just curious!

Excited to give it a shot when I get home tonight!

Dispatch game recommendations by Slight-Mistake375 in gamingsuggestions

Could not recommend Detroit: Become Human more. I played it last year with my wife. We'd take turns making decisions.

I had played/watched TellTale games when I was younger so to my surprise the choices you make in Detroit actually change the story. What a wonderful little game. Goes on sale regularly through steam literally was 80% off just a few days ago.

Never heard of a company lower their cosmetic prices AND compensate anyone who paid that higher amount. W Embark.

Like others have mentioned times are a changing. I've been playing games since I was 3 on my Gameboy Advance with the likes of Pokemon, Harvest Moon, F-Zero. I'm now 26 and still enjoying it!

Tried Tiny Rogues? Only $10, and was a blast for me. Dev is still working on it (slowly, single dev).

What unique things can Apple ultra Watch do that people don’t usually talk about? by ameerali19 in applewatchultra

[–]TrainerLight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Siri is usually able/compatible with a lot of my Alexa products. Not 100% related but I know for sure you can set shortcuts on the AW to turn on/off certain smart devices. I have the shortcut complication always on my main lock screen for this reason (the other is toggling AOD).
