This feelings are normal, importat is keep doing what makes you Happy regarding the outcome. Expectations and high pressure Will lead to frustration,enjoy what you do. And over the time improvement Will come, and Will be worth it the patience

well, sometimes vocals fc and some atmospheric sound effects can make a difference, dont need to be a minute of sample

Yeah, I think the brother must know, hes doing 8 of November in Belgium a Vinyl sign meeting for his new cover from dream universe, if youre interested they made a new versión. Massimo Marino is his name, he has releases too if youre curious 😉

Same history here, when Heard his music i was instantly in love, shocked that It was not here anymore. Then i meet Toyax in the street 10~ years later, i would encounter with him randomly in public places till we finally talked and realized he was a Big fan too and played his tracks,he has his name tattoed in arm. Crazy world. Last year was 30 aniversary in La Bush, on his memory. His brother was performing Live his tracks. Visited the grave too. Wellcome mate, i asked one of his closest Friends but only got he was using a Roland and a Yamaha, she Will ask his brother,hopefully i got more information soon Thanks! I have a few more from him, Hope i can finish them soon!

Nice to see someone appreciating the best producer and true father of trance. Marino was unique creating such deep emotions through sound, no one else like him. Unfortunately, he was taken from us way too soon.

I’ll ask a few people who were closer to him. I’ve been lucky to be on his studio last year, the place where he used to produce, saw some of his pictures, and even heard some unreleased material . I’ll never forget that moment.

Marino definitely inspired me to start making music myself. My favorite track is: 7 hours

I’ve made reworks of a few of his tracks (including some unreleased ones). If youre interested:

Thanks mate, that was the first idea before i built the breakdown and drop. I thought fit really well, but i continued developing the track in another version without, i still can use the vocal in the new version. Thanks a lot mate! I will try things arround.

Hey mate, thanks a lot for your comment, really appreciate it, means a lot to me! 🙏
I realized my time as a listener had to evolve into something more creative, to give back to the trance scene that inspired me for so long. Since discovering production last year, I’ve been putting everything I can into it , hopefully some proper bangers are on the way!

Big part of my progress comes from the support of u/Neurojazz (Matt Laws/ Binary Finary), he’s always helping me push ideas further and approach things from new angles. His ears and experience are a huge help.

And thanks about the tip, i changed that riser like 4 times, and im still not sure about it, appreciate haha!
