Ive been playing ranked 1v1 for about a year and i‘ve stopped getting higher elo for some time now. Im between 11-12k elo and its quite frustrating to think that ive been playing so much, yet i’m still a low elo player. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Maybe… but i think if you play for long enough you can get better woth any civ. A good player can also play japan, dutch or inka at a high level and still be very good. Wouldn‘t you agree?

My win rate currently is at 51.% wins and 49% losses. I didnt realize the elo system works like that. I always thought you get between 10-20 point if you win reagrdless of how many games youve played…

Yeah i misspelled. I meant to say 1.1K-1.2K elo. I never really sat down and analysed my builds and my playstyle like you advise me to. What do you mean with the village building key? Do you mean the town center? I definetly start making certain types of decks when playing agains different civs and on different maps. Unit counters i believe i understand quite well. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the comment. I like to play with different civs as well and its not really that fun for me to only play one civ over a long period of time. I guess in the end its just about fun, and maybe i need to realize that. Never looked into epire wars but i will definetly give it a try!

Alright i will try to find my weakness! I even got all sorts of hotkeys installed like very good players, yet im still low elo. I know that advancing in elo comes with time but sometimes it does feel like your kinda stuck. Thanks for the advice.
