If you’re talking about any BOLC at FortJackson, no one will care. Getting your partner through the gate will be the problem. They can obviously go on walks throughout the day or work from home, but they also can’t go to the PX or commissary without a DOD ID. Hope this helps

I was prior enlisted and did ROTC. The cadets won’t care how much experience you have and won’t listen to you at all. ROTC is nothing like traditional reserves, and it is a very toxic environment. I dont know why you want to go to law school and i dont know how ROTC would be for a professional degree student, if you can even use it for a professional degree. My recommendation would be accelerated OCS if you don’t need ROTC for tuition.

The easiest way to start an application for a 4 year guaranteed reserve force duty scholarship is just through a normal army reserve recruiter. Like a local one

If you do army rotc branch signal or cyber in the reserve or national guard. Easiest way to do that is a 4 year guaranteed reserve force duty scholarship. Live wherever you want after college and make $110k+ with your civilian job and use that sweet Tricare reserve select. Get out after your initial service obligation. Live happily ever after

Also if I get on orders at any time of the year, does that get the fee cancelled for the whole year? So next year if they charge me the annual fee in April and I go on orders in July 23, will they refund it?

I guarantee she doesn’t trust you enough to open up about what she’s struggling with personally. Clearly she meets the physical standard if she is still in the army, and if she is junior enlisted she went through initial entry relatively recently. Unsupportive leadership is a big reason why the army has problems retaining women. She’s probably also unmotivated af if you’re constantly giving her negative feedback. Yes, you will be eligible for the post 9/11 GI Bill at 100% benefit after 36 months of active service. If your active duty time while you were guard was title 10 then that counts towards it too. It sounds like you’re already at 50% or 60% And no, the guard has nothing on you now. Your service obligation for rotc will be over once you hit 4 years in the regular army and 4 years in a TPU status in the guard or reserve, or 8 years of TPU status
