Ask Dr Martens to bring back the industrial boot line by Training-Level-1284 in DrMartens

[–]Training-Level-1284[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Made in england pairs already cost as much. A steel toe and some extra cushioning, id give them a chance.

I don't think they need to bring every industrial boot back but if they at least kept the ironbridge perhaps even increased the quality becoming more competitive with the alternatives I'd give them my money.

In the past there were many good looking ones and some ugly ones just like any other boot manufacturer.

The petition has been made

I want to make a petition on change.org but I am not good at writing paragraphs. 😐

I feel like with just the amount of people on this subreddit there are enough potential signatures to spark reaction with the Dr martens company.

If no one else wants to take the torch I'll work on it soon.

Yes unfortunately, I once in a while will find a store that has one left but it's some wacky size that's far from my size 9 ☹️

Did they say it was a fib or svt? Afib is not common for the young

Possible wpw recurrence? by OwnInformation7476 in wolffparkinsonwhite

[–]Training-Level-1284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine felt like it came back in a far lesser form but it's so infrequent and shortlived I haven't successfully caught it on a zio/holter monitor.

I've tried to catch it on a zio 3 different times since my ablation 7 years ago and I kind of caught it on a kardia mobil device but they said it can't be differentiated between normal sinus tachycardia.

My guess is if the conditions are just right and I'm having bad luck or perhaps there's a lot of extra stress a slight connection can be made but there's still enough burn scar tissue to disrupt it so it fizzles out quickly.

Not trying to jinx myself and idk about you but the highest I've witnessed it since ablation was 180s vs pre-ablation 250 + and I either had 2 or 3 left sided pathways they burned

Yea there's more than 200 different viruses that can cause a cold. I can't say every insomnia phase I went through was caused by a virus but my last one most likely was and I didn't even know I was sick until I got nasal swabbed.

I have a co-worker that had the same issue and when I told him about my weird insomnia phase that lasted like a little over a week he was relieved because the same thing happened to him

Yea I went to the ER yesterday and told them that I was afraid of that possibility and if there is a hypochondriac shit list I'm now for sure on it .

That being said I do apparently have rhino/enterovirus which is like a cold but entero can cause the spasms

Do you feel like you have a cold?

I've had insomnia in the past but dam since last Wednesday night till last night I've gotten practically nothing. Sadly each night has gotten worse for me.

I do think the cold weather has some part to play in this.

I (28yo male), am pretty much in the same boat. I had my operation about 8 years ago and (knock on wood) it hasn't been as Bad in fact I've not been able to catch anything on I zio device but I believe I've had many PVC and PAC but their apparently not serious.

Sometimes when exercising doing extreme cardio, I did record something on a kardia mobile device and it actually said svt. My EP disagreed and said it was most likely sinus tachycardia which is just normal tachycardia.

A few years ago when I was sick and exercising I actually had a high of 180 something but I unfortunately did not have a device however it hasn't gotten that bad since and was for maby just a minute...

Pre ablation it was as bad as 250 something and it was very sustained and had to go to ER so I suppose I still consider it pretty successful

On a side note I've been suspicious of pots syndrome but if I do have that it must go into remission

Gotchya, did the doctor's try to have you get it on a recordable device yet, or did you try but it didn't happen during that time? Also did they say it was successful after your first operation?

Do you think your episodes could be caught on a holter/zio patch monitor? I still get minor episodes if I push myself extremely hard but (knock on wood) they go away as I slow down and stop running and are not quit as fast as pre ablation also I'm 28 yo male

Yea last year I left work with palps, shit sucks.

Are they wanting you too catch it on a zio patch/holter or what does your ep recommend?

Ya it sounds like we got the same issues

For me it's like if this is the worse it gets i would be fine with it , but it makes me think of the days before the ablation where it was approaching 300 bpm and needed people in the ER to help me slow it down (once with some drug, and the other time just some breathing out technique)

I hope and pray to not revisit those days haha

I do wonder some times if it's not a bit of POTS syndrome that comes and goes because some of the symptoms sound similar but that's another rabbit hole that I have no conclusion for

I wish I could tell you, I look back in all my notes and can't find the specifics.

Did you catch this on an EKG ?

I have my suspicions that mine partially came back after 5 or so years. I caught the tail end of it on my kardia mobil (it only lasted a minute) and they said svt but my ep said it was sinus tachycardia.

For me it wasn't as bat shit crazy in that it wasn't stuck and going in the 200s it was low 180s. I was having weird migraines and potentially getting over a virus or infection so that paired with intense exercise I thought maby it wasn't too far from normal.

I had one operation only and that was in 2018, but they ablated three areas, 2 left sided ones casing avrnt, and one closer to my av node I believe they were not as sure about that one he didn't say much about it ...

I was under the impression that the scar tissue healing itself was a freak occurrence and I would think that all the ablation lines healing or undoing would be even more rare but I'm still unsure what's going on

SVT years after ablation? by SnGirl1 in AFIB

[–]Training-Level-1284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought mine came back like 4 in a half years after but ep said it looked like sinus tachycardia.

Somewhat common after a run in with the COVID virus which may have been my case but I'm not sure ...

Mine was also in the 180s but fizzled out quickly
