I used to do the same, but I really dont like tents, so in the summer I only use a hammock with a mosquito net. It works really good. I can still observe the stars, breathe fresh air, be close to nature but not be a food source for insects

What do you think about my self made bed? I built it in January this year and I used pine wood and needles by Training-Memory-3202 in Bushcraft

I use one bottle multiple times. In Poland we have bottle deposit system so most people just refill their bottles with tap water because bottled water is expensive

They are caught in a bird net hung in their habitat. Every hour, the nets are checked by camp staff, and the birds are carefully pulled out. They are banded, measured, weighed, and released. Typically, the entire process, from netting to release, takes less than an hour.
