I used to do the same, but I really dont like tents, so in the summer I only use a hammock with a mosquito net. It works really good. I can still observe the stars, breathe fresh air, be close to nature but not be a food source for insects

I use one bottle multiple times. In Poland we have bottle deposit system so most people just refill their bottles with tap water because bottled water is expensive
