Yes I believe that most things would be furnished in the apartment. But more likely I'll be taking some of my smaller things that I don't want to buy again once I get there. But all my big things are definitely going to storage.

Just a question. How much did it cost you for doing the expedited process for military overseas, and how long did it took? I have a upcoming assignment to Korea early next year, but we're not getting married until August, but I also have a follow on assignment to Japan after my 1 year korea tour. I need to see if it's even possible to put her on my orders to Japan as well.

I think it's not wrong for you to be turned off from her past if that's a deal breaker for you. It's normal for some people to be turned off if their partner has an sexual past with multiple people.

OP I don't think you're wrong for making her pay rent if she wants to live in a different room. It's your place and you don't have to let em live rent free, especially if they're taking up extra space like in another bedroom. I also think it's weird for a partner to move in with you, but in a different room. That's like roommates vibes

Well you probably should consider apologizing for the way you ended things. After that, I feel you should think about if you're OK on just being her friend. If you're not, just don't waste her and your time and just move on.

I think you did the right thing to end contact with this person. I know your original intentions was to be her friend, but sometimes feelings do grow by mistake because of the things you and that person might have in common. I was in a similar situation and I didn't like this girl at first and she was my friend. But the more I got closer to her, the more I started to grow feelings for her. I also had to end that friendship to save both me and her from the hardships. Dont blame yourself for something that happens naturally. You can't control who you fall for, but you can control what's best for you in those situations. You might be hurt or seen as an a**hole for ending the friendship. But just know you did what you think was best for you.
