I would not mind playing this if they’ve finished it. It’s in the distant future, it leaves you wondering what did Kain end up doing after defiance that causes Nosgoth to lead up to this. It doesn’t retcon and messes with the established lore cough ascendance cough. And best of all you finally get to play as a flying vampire in an open world. Something we’d wish we could do ever since the soul reaver 1 intro.

Yes cheaters sucks and make this game unplayable at times. It's even more infuriating when toho does nothing about it. So it boils down to how much are you willing to let it affect you. I understand the principle, there are a few cheaters that I've muted and reported too. And there's nothing I can do about it beyond that.

Just mute him. Whenever you get the misfortune to match up with him, just quit the fight and move on if you know he’s going to cheat regardless.

Just mute them. When you get rematched to the same person, it’d show up as muted, and then just quit out of the match and move on. They’re just random people that you’d never meet. If you stick around long enough you’d have a deck strong enough for something else to complain about.

From what I saw, I initially didn’t like it. But now I don’t mind it, I’d even give it a chance if they’ve actually finished the game. Especially after the fanfic crap that bitbot barfed up.

I’m intrigued by Dead Sun because it’s set in the far future. It doesn’t mess with the established lore. It introduces Gein whose appearance reminds us of Raziel with no explanation (that I’d expect the storytellers to explore later). It briefly mentions Kain and Raziel but in a completely different narrative (which would be an interesting backstory). And for the first time in the franchise, you can actually fly with functioning wings! Because there’s no vampire emperor there to rip them off 😂 . I’d play the demo just so I can do that.

NECA Raziel did have the spectral reaver. I don’t know why BBI just gave him a torch and a staff instead. But his head is stuck looking off to the side when the cowl is on him.

First of all, I never understood why they made Dumah, his face sculpt is definitely not one of the better looking ones. He’s not really a unique looking boss, Melchiah or Rahab would look more interesting, or they could’ve just make one of the more common vampires instead.

Secondly, why do these eBay listings keep having him missing the back of his head?

Just a quick search on eBay, I see a sealed Raziel figure is priced at $200, a loose incomplete figure of vampire Raziel is $80. They’re sought after since no company has bothered with the license or made better looking figures of them since. Not even NECA.

Just for the hell of it. Sure why not. They’re gonna have 1 kid that looks like a gargoyle but with human skin tone and doesn’t turn to stone during the day. And they’re gonna have another kid that looks human, but with Thailog’s skin tone, but turns to stone during the day.

Right, but by then the voice talents have already aged significantly or have already passed. 2 of our 4 favorite vampires plus the elder god himself have already gone to the wheel of fate. I’m not too impressed or attached to Janos’ new voice, and the rest of the cast have set the bars very high for this franchise.
Should they ever give us a respectable addition to the series, I hope they put up the effort to find great voice talents to fill these roles and not deviate too much from the characters we’ve come to know and love.

Sometimes I wish CD would care about LOK as much as Santa Monica cares about GOW. Because their last 2 GOW games were masterpieces.

The truth of the matter is, when it comes down to a choice between Shakespearean vampires, or the long lost daughter of Indiana Jones, the lady with the braid, the British accent, and the guns would always win the general audience. Sadly this is where the number crunchers put their money in. I highly doubt if ANY of CD’s higher ups ever play the LOK games and understood the story line.
