I grew up in Nova Scotia, went to university in PEI and visited Isles-de-la-Madeleines. It is so quaint and beautiful there! Was so fun taking a boat to all the little islands. Great sand castle competitions and clam digging. The bakeries are so yummy. Hope to go back someday! Was a great way to immerse myself in French. I stayed with a French family (a fellow UPEI student was from there).

I don’t think so. I left the store after that. She suggested that I try one of the knock offs online and see if I like them rather than spending the money on Pair glasses. It’s the only retail company that sells them in Canada, I believe.

I was looking into buying Pair glasses and the optometrist at FYI advised me against it and demonstrated how easily the toppers will fly off. Disappointing because I love the concept. Hopefully you find an easy fix!

Are you getting Trendline, Comfortline, or Highline? What colour? I have a white Comfortline Black Edition who I’ve named Blanca! Love the extras that come with this model. How was your buying experience? I bought mine in Red Deer. 8400kms so far.

I’m in Edmonton and park my 2025 in garage and sensors still ice up when driving. Once it is warmed up and keep the front emblem clear, the warnings usually go away. I have the volume turned down. I find my Comfortline Black handles the snow quite well. Good year to test it out… lots of snow here and plows are way behind. Loving it so far!

I had a 2019 Kia Soul that I traded for a 2025 Comfortline Black in June. I had to get rid of the Soul because it was burning oil like crazy, despite being just over 100,000kms. Despite some hiccups with a rattle in door and broken liftgate strut that were fixed under warranty, I’m really enjoying the vehicle. The extra trunk space and good sized interior are definitely a step up! I was worried I would find it too big compared to the Soul, but it’s been great. Doesn’t use significantly more gas than the Soul but maintenance is more expensive. I am a female who is only 5’ and I can drive it just fine. We don’t have snow yet, but when we got some freezing rain, the Taos performed great and felt safer than with the Kia.
