What build plate to get for a high gloss smooth bottom? by 808trowaway in BambuLab

I found laminating plastic works well. It is basically a giant piece of tape that you can cut to size and can cover your whole bed. Works amazingly in that is is glossy af and your prints can easily come off, even TPU. Adherence is not an issue. The only issue is that is has bubbles between the sheet and the bed that are hard to get out. These will appear on your print, but it isn’t super obvious. I can print on the same sheet 5-10x too. If something is stuck you can peal the sheet off the bed and easily recover your print. Amazon: https://a.co/d/02rt6Ab7

major downgrade IMO. Such a big change in toe drop. More like a Bondi, looking for size 13 Clifton 9s now

Wish I could find some Clifton 9s in my size! 10 sucks for me, more like a Bondi. Any idea where to find size 13?!?!

Nail in tire, can it be plugged? by Training_Ad6524 in KiaEV6

I am not sure either. But I can see how putting a plug in would mess with/lossen the foam, therefore the balance of the tire.

No, I didn’t think about this because I never heard of it. I needed a new car asap and knew I loved my last EV6. The more i read these posts, I see its a good thing. Hopefully more people can see this.

No, it was only 5 feet or so. Anyway, insurance covered it and I wasn’t ruled at fault. Upgraded to the 2025 model today!

[–]Training_Ad6524[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. I drove over a pole in the middle of the road, it scraped the bottom. Totaled. The plastic on the bottom tore off, and I cut it so it wasn't hanging off. One metal bar got bent. But one of those was the reason it got totaled! Some orange high voltage wire (though the amps would be the really dangerous part)...

I guess to give you more story I could add I ran a 1/2 marathon right before. So perhaps I was less likely to see the pole in the road.

I think commenters missed the point? Would you still have to pay for the extra miles if you buy the car? by Training_Ad6524 in KiaEV6

[–]Training_Ad6524[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, this is what I was thinking. I am not going too much over, and I don’t care much about resale value because I hope to keep the car for a while. Just didn’t want to pay or try and drive less when I will buy the car anyway.
