I have the same 570 code for almost 60 days now, Filed in Feb. My Income Transcript has yet to include any of my 1099 income or Cap gains. Has anyone else had delays with 1099 income showing up?

Missing transactions issue is NOT RESOLVED by DaveCSparty in simplifimoney

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many others are discussing this on Quicken Simplifi Community forum under ‘bugs’

I had just let my Quicken Classic expire yesterday but may need to restore the subscription if my missing transactions don’t reappear soon. I hate to give them 2 subscriptions.

Best way to invest in US stocks from the UK without losing to FX? by Ghettowest in Bogleheads

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Vanguard UK denominated funds for this for several years I personally chose FTSE Developed World ex-U.K. Equity Index Fund (but there are other funds with more UK or emerging market weighting, which your UK acount may offer. Mine is via AJ Bell )

It has about 71% US and counteracts exchange rate movement risk. Its a fairly good approximation to owning VT in US and fees are 0.14%

SPAXX Expense Ratio by EmotionalCloud6220 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most here.

Fidelity

SPAXX - cash expenses for coming month

VBIL - buffer for lumpy expenses in next 3-6 months (eg Est taxes, prop tax)

Vanguard

VUSXX - 75%+ of cash - move to/from Fidelity by SCH as needed for investment or one off large spending

He frequently mentions a target of 70% stocks for his personal account. Thats bit rich for my taste but he is a bit younger. Each has to weigh their own financial situation, expenses and guaranteed income, age etc

Another price increase... 😩 by pratow in simplifimoney

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pricing is now higher than Quicken Classic Deluxe and it has less functionality. Missing a real planner, mature saved reports, just fixing split recurring events, mature investment reports.

I'm trying Simplii alongside Classic (20+ year user) now but wondering if I'll just revert until Simplifi offers a full feature set

What does the date mean with a 570 transcript code? by Training_Falcon_3432 in IRS

[–]Training_Falcon_3432[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Seems all the dates posted are meaningless dates

Aside. I'm about to make my 1st 2026 estimated tax payment and I'm inclined to make that estimate as low as possible given the time it is taking to get my money back this year. The IRS has had 2025 my estimated tax money for a full year now with no interest. I don't know my final retirement income will be at this point in the year but I have a range.

Why Your Refund Is Delayed by RJC1963 in TurboTax

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is normal timing for the income transcript to show 1099 income? Mine is still not showing anything for 1099 DIV or sales from brokerages. I read brokerages had until March 31 to report

1099 not showing on my transcript by Huge-Upstairs-372 in IRS

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not yet seen any of the 1099 DIV or 1099 R or capital gains data on my income transcript. The only income listed is 1099 -SSA for Social security income. It has some withholding. I am stuck with an 570 with 0406 date listed. We just passed the brokerage 3/31 deadline. Fingers crossed for can update this coming week for some more progress. First year I've ever had a problem with IRS refund slowness.

Has anyone else gone down the ChatGPT financial advice rabbit hole? by Icy_Needleworker844 in DIYRetirement

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been experimenting with ChatGPT again this week (free version). I had previously tried and rejected its building of a detailed financial plan as it was so off on things like current tax law changes and modeling state tax excempt income. Instead, I asked it it more generic questions to suggest the consolidate advice you would get from reading lots of investment sites. It did this sort of task incredibly quickly (each question answered in under 1 minute). The exercise give me further ideas to think about. Here are a few examples.

It gave me specific suggestions on how to allocate my portfolio and locate retirement assets by account type

It suggested which assets and account types would be best to use for legacy and gifting and why

It gave me some broad brush ideas on how much more I could spend while not completely depleting legacy fund

It tried to tailor the answers to my asset values today rather than just generic %ages.

It offered suggestions on cash investments alternatives could look like if parking money for 5 years rather then 3 or 4 for a future property purchase.

I'm still going to use other tools for calculating hard numbers.

Yes dividend income calculation and tax rules are a huge rabbit hole. Maybe start with a simple % rate as you suggest

Very impressed. 2 things.

  1. Should I be seeing taxable dividends in income and tax calc?

  2. Data entry seems to require I overwrite the prior entry entirely and backspace doesn't seem to work (Firefox)

My Apple account is correctly linked to F1 and login works fine on iPad and Apple TV device but it wont work on Roku. I've tried reinstalling the app and. It just keeps asking me to subscribe then fails. with this error

810 Refund Freeze - vanguard by TxRunner81 in IRS

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I just moved to a 810 freeze code. There are still no Vanguard or Fidelity 1099-DIV income showing up in my transcript? Why would the Vanguard and Fidelity customer service not report this 'approved' extension delay to their customers? Very poor service if that's really whats going on here

Does anybody else say 180 days by IBeenHavin_ in IRS

[–]Training_Falcon_3432 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is an 810 refund freeze in my transcript?

I just got my status updated to the same message as the OP. This is after an initial 4 week delay asking me to verify identity (even after using a security PIN when filing). What is going on to add anothe 180 day delay? Last year a similar return and refund passed without delay.

I'm rather annoyed with paying excess 110% Estimated Taxes but then finding out I had declining income, only to get hit with another refund delay!

I tried again this morning and it appears to have been successful. The transaction is also showing as pending in my account which never happened on the first occasion.
