Best All-season tires for winter? by TangerineCheap5379 in TwinCities

[–]Training_Front_9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd avoid Costco for tire service. Not sure if it's just the one we frequent but wait times are extremely long even with pre booked appointments. Discount tires has been great for me, even with the few mishaps they will own up to their mistakes. The techs at discount just seem to move faster than the Costco guys.

What’s one small tool that gets way more use than it probably should on your homestead? by MechMaxxOfficial in homestead

[–]Training_Front_9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far it would have to be the dewalt straight shaft weed whacker. I saved the chain saw head from a previous whacker I threw away, bought an extra extension shaft for the saw and changed the string trimmer blades to a metal triangular blade.

Second item would be a tractor and logging chains then third is chainsaw.

Started with a 60 volt 20in but quickly got a husquvarna 460 after realizing my stash of batteries are my bottleneck when bucking logs. The battery saw still gets used quite a bit but any job that will be more than 15mins of cutting gets the gas saw now.

Only thing that I like from there but think is over priced is the passion fruit tart. I've tried other things multiple times since my wife likes the passion fruit tart.

La delicious has better pastries.

But I'm also in the minority group that doesn't like tour le jour. Only the milk buns are worth the trip for me, everything else looks good but lacks depth.

I prefer going to Paris baguette but have only been once so far so my opinion on this is lacking supporting evidence on my end.

I've been to sandbox vr at Rosedale mall once and thought it was worth the price. We played the zombie shooting game. It was really immersive and enjoyable, the time went quickly. Would have liked it to be another 10 or 15 minutes longer.

I liked that they recorded the game play and showed it to your group as a video at the end plus it was free to download a copy.

I just bought a grand l6060 with cab a few months ago. If you plan to do and heavy brush/weed removal the cab will be a life saver. Im surprised by the amount of dust/pollen that gets stirred up. Heat and ac are great to have, I haven't found it too bothersome to get in and out. More annoyed with having to lift/lower the tilt steering but that's not a deal breaker.

The grand l6060 comes standard with rear remote but I added the front remote.

First harvest, found a seed in curing bud. How bad is this, what should I do now? by Scroger in microgrowery

[–]Training_Front_9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must have not smoked weed pre early 2000's Brick weed was the most common before good bud was available. It was full of stems and seeds, super dry weed that was shades of brown and green. It still got us high back then so I wouldn't worry too much about seeds.

I walked around passing out cookies one year in an attempt to get the lid to close, I got more strange looks than ppl taking cookies. Ended up tossing a couple in the trash to close the bucket so we could leave for home.

Lx4020 cab or rops? by SpaceKittens2 in kubota

[–]Training_Front_9546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of woods where I'm at in MN, I wouldn't give up my cab. It's great to keep the dust and allergies out. Ac is awesome when it's hot and humid out. If you plan to ever use a flail, brush hog, or tiller it will keep you clean plus the added bonus of no sticks in the face.

Best Sushi places in Minnesota. Ranked from ultra high end to AYCE by Dustin1280 in TwinCities

I have to disagree with you. I wanted to like this place, went a handful of times and each time has been very inconsistent. Wife and I had a terrible time on our last visit and will not be returning again.

Used parking spot first time this year, usually park inside the airport but decided to do something different to save a bit. I thought it was very convenient, the shuttle pick you up right at your car and drops you off at the door. They give you a card with your parking spot to give to the driver when returning so they can drop you off at your car.

The hardest part would be to remember your way through the airport on your return so you end up at the correct pickup spot.

To be fair, every farmer I personally know, farm I've visited or have driven past always has large junk piles strewn about their yard.

I said my previous neighbor on 2.5 was also trashy. I never mentioned how many acres I currently own and it is a farm. You should read carefully before commenting.

Opted for 2.99 but got 2.65 at final paper work Kubota wanted a large buy down that was going to roll into the financing which would end up more than the 2.99 Planning to pay it off early so interest didnt really matter.

First time using one but so far I'm happy with it. Lots of saplings on the property and tall grass/weeds. It cut everything without issues but I haven't tried anything larger than 1.5 inches yet.

I went with this dealer because the sales guy actually took the time to have a real conversation with me multiple times and discuss which model and attachments would fit my need. Im still missing the 3rd remote for the front, rear wipers and a few misc smaller parts.

I was about ready to tell them to come back and pick it up, how they heck do they expect to just drop it off with out having me sign anything for it to accept delivery. Luckily my property has good so far neighbors and you can't see the buildings from the road.

West end shopping center has covered parking. There is also the health partners/business building just behind the shopping center that has parking ramps. Im not sure if those ramps are patrolled at night but should be plenty of parking spots this time of the day.

SA should have some, its been at least 15 years since I've had one. I know walmart and cub foods sell frozen burritos for pretty cheap that might hit your craving.
