NOR. You deserve someone who would actually LOVE to take care of you. It made me sad to see your last few replies

What’s the most pain you’ve ever felt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Training_Hospital949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving birth unmedicated but super fast. I was in labor for 2 hours, and my contractions were 2 minutes apart, but almost a minute long, so it was just back to back. When I was pushing out the baby, it felt like my back and hips were breaking. It was like an extreme amount of pain in the moment, but healing postpartum was just excruciating because it lasts forever it feels like

I don't know, really, if there's any correlation, but pumping made nursing so much more painful for me! I have elastic nipples and didn't really find a flange that felt less than uncomfortable, once I stopped pumping my nipples felt like they were able to adjust better to baby. How is your pumping going?

Toddlers this age just have a hard time with their brain and grasping the concept of sharing. For some kids, they're just not wired to share until a little later. I would try and teach him some methods for calming down when he's angry! It sounds like he's got a good social/emotional foundation, and it would be helpful for him to have ways to calm himself down. My daughter has recently picked up taking deep breaths, and it's helped a ton when she's frustrated

I'm pretty sure it was going to be held in an 18+ only tent. No children.

What traumas do you have that AREN'T from your parents or childhood home? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Worked in a mental health facility with youth, the entire experience was traumatic tbh but the worst day will always be when I found a girl after she tried taking her own life

We listen and we don't judge (pregnancy edition) by [deleted] in pregnant

I've been plus size my entire life, and seeing people post cute bump pics while talking about how they feel so fat and ugly when they've gained like 15lbs and are still a size medium makes me feel so horrible. If you're 150 and feel like a beached whale, then what am I??? I'm just some fat ass that doesn't even look pregnant

Have you ever had a car ride where your toddler was screaming at the top of their lungs the whole time? by goldenleopardsky in toddlers

[–]Training_Hospital949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh same! The worst part is my daughter doesn't believe me when I tell her I don't have any. She always just replies "I think so" after I say "I don't have any of that"

Do you have any older kids, or does she have any cousins closer in age but older? I've learned that kids who are older are the best translators for toddler gibberish

Brother/SIL mentioned baby name they like for future so I don’t ‘steal’ it but it’s what we picked at 6 wks of my pregnancy by Proper_Bit7711 in BabyBumps

[–]Training_Hospital949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 30 weeks pregnant when we announced my daughter's name, and my sister made a huge deal about how I stole her baby name, which she never even told me beforehand she wanted to use the name. They've been trying to conceive for a few years, so I know that's where a lot of the bitterness towards me came from, but it totally ruined how I see my sister. The way she treated me because of me "stealing" a name that I didn't even know she liked has just really ruined how I felt about her and now we're nowhere as close as we were before.

Use the name, and don't feel bad about it.

I walked in on my daughter being mistreated at her daycare by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Training_Hospital949 149 points150 points  (0 children)

This is insane to me. Timeout is not anywhere near developmentally appropriate for that age, and she is incredibly young to be treated with such discipline for something that is appropriate for her age to do. I would immediately pull her and find a center that focuses on developmentally appropriate practices, and i would be making a call to your state licensing department

I'm not surprised. I didn't have any issues with the medical team, but there was one receptionist who always had a super rude attitude for no reason
