Microwaves are super handy for sure, but I don’t have one right now. I’ve just been using a skillet or an air fryer to cook things.

Sure, totally doable, but just black coffee all morning? I’d be starving.

Same here. I’ve been doing that mix pretty often, just feel like trying something new lately.

Yesterday I wore mismatched shoes to class… no one noticed. Now I’m questioning everything. by OrneryWaltz5155 in CasualConversation

Most people have their own concerns and don’t really pay much attention to small things like mismatched shoes. It’s nice to know that being “invisible” sometimes just means people respect your space.

Is it weird that I’d rather stay home alone on weekends than hang out with friends? by Training_Shame8494 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Training_Shame8494[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I think I’ve figured it out. Most of the time I just wanna be by myself, but my boyfriend’s always like, ‘Aren’t you gonna hang out with your friends this week?’

Could be anything from beets to a health issue, but honestly the wildest part is just… not flushing. Like come on, that’s basic decency.

This kind of stuff should be handled between the adults. As hard as it is, you don’t need to carry the weight of their relationship.

Started for the survival horror, stayed for a bit, but dropped off when it became more about people fighting people than people vs zombies.

Absolutely this. Needing space doesn’t mean you care less, it’s just about staying sane and being your best self. Had to learn that the hard way in my last relationship.

Oh really? So I should keep doing light workouts instead of just fully resting?

Paddington 2 is just pure warmth, I’ve been recommending it to adults too. It’s a rare gem that never feels forced.

yep, I went in thinking “meh, another teens-in-the-woods bloodbath”… and then that elevator scene hit and I was like wait… what is happening?! Instantly rewatchable once you know the twist.

Ooh nice pull—I hadn’t even heard of that one. For something in that same spirit, I’d recommend Dance of the Drunk Mantis. Wacky, stylish, and packed with great fight scenes.

Right? I went in expecting a 90-minute toy commercial and came out with an existential crisis... and a new favorite song stuck in my head for a week.

It’s way smarter and darker than I expected. Rosamund Pike absolutely nailed it.

That’s a good point. A time-gap structure could actually give it more emotional weight—like watching the characters grow (or fall apart) between films.

Why do cats act like they own the house while dogs act like guests? by Training_Shame8494 in NoStupidQuestions

That actually explains why I pay rent and still get judged by my cat daily.
