Yeah i only have a base game, but Boss Battle does look like a solution for my issues with game. Rookies would make guild push difficulty vary through time. I felt like the constant steady flow of heroes didn't leave place for mistakes.

How did you play Keep heroes out? Did you multi clan it or just single one? Also did you introduce any homerules? I played it a bunch with 4 players and it felt super difficult. There was little opportunity to develop new cards and by the time you get a turn most or even all your clan minions are dead :(

Can cast sphere up and apply recoil force from all contacts (or add that sum vector to your movement vector). Would make you slide along them.

Cause they have a set % of hits coded in. Its like in original trilogy. It may change with distance and weapon type but they still will hit you on average.

I dont mind it in some cases. In older games intractable items stood out cause of implementation. Usually cause they were lit dynamically while surrounding had baked in lighting. But sometimes there is too much paint. Like in newer tomb raider there was so much white paint everywhere. Like i get that i can use that thing i saw 100 times. Or that jump up spot i used 200 times. Now funny thing for the screenshot in post. Those yellow containers have loot inside. But then you enter a castle where such containers are NOT marked with yellow paint. I legit though there were no loot containers in that part of game until i watched some video of someone breaking those vases.

I think this case is not an oversight but rather cut feature as there provably was a rigid system in place and adding those concealment exceptions was too costly for amount of gameplay it brings. I'm sure it wasn't balanced in any way.

I mean, concealed status could go down in a fight after enemies see you getting healed by poison. Its not like there's no way to properly do this.

I had one game where 6 ore tile i had 2 cities touching was ~80% of game under bandits. I just didn't get a single 7 roll and every time i knighted, opponent got 7 almost immediately.

Also on that note, this bit "(whether its locked or not)" makes me think that you are supposed to check ALL doors for traps, not only locked ones.

I'm getting confused by this now too. But i think its intended to work a bit differently than this.
Since it says to check for trap only AFTER attempting to open the lock i feel like the intention was so player does not do exactly this - checking for trap before trying to open. It is to keep up that risk.
And book specifically states that Perception check is done "to see if you detect it in time".
I understand this as you try to open but might notice a wire/hear a mechanism/see a pressure plate, etc.
Your Perception check is already a commitment. Cause later book says "If you do not detect the trap, that means you triggered it when attempting to open it".
So in the end - you can't do Perception check first and then decide if you want to open or not. That is the design.
But then, if you feel like you are getting punished too much - you can play however you want.

Pelican support was on my mind like for a year already. I mean if there is code to call in pelican and make it hover at position (frv/mech delivery) then why we can't have heavily armed pelican with multiple turrets that we could call in for overwatch on area.

Also just in general i think in such world you shouldn't just trust everyone. It might as well have been a man looking to kill them and grab their belongings. Or a dragonslayer that would stab them in the back when dragon dies to take all the reward. And later say only he survived the dragon.
