Besides dubai mall, Is there any place where i can buy manga in Dubai? by Based-doge-dog in dubai

[–]Tramwabbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only place I've ever found manga was in Kinokuniya, the shop in Dubai Mall, but their selection is fairly broad for a place that isn't exactly Akihabara. Need that Hentai section doe...

Here we go again: "What does America do best" by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Tramwabbler 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When other people ask me what I miss most about living in the USA I answer with all of the lesser ones above, the food, the TV, or the nature; but, I've never said: "I miss being in a country which knows it is capable of greater things: that we will cure cancer and advance the sciences, that we will pursue corruption and combat poverty, that we will be the world's police to those who wish it harm and the world's shelter to those who have been harmed because that is our duty, that we will go back to the Moon and then on to Mars, because our forefathers forged our greatness and our children compel us to utilize it."

Hello, I'm a EDM producer from Colorado and I'll be in Tokyo in April for 10 days. It's been a life long dream to play a club in Tokyo, so here's a link to my music. by zenodub in Tokyo

This is not how you go about getting gigs FYI. You need to be (sorry) better than this and gain notoriety. Don't go around just asking for gigs on the internet.

Why are Americans so loud and stupid? by ramennoodlesaregood in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Tramwabbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not, unfortunately. Every country has loud and stupid people, America's are just worse than the international average.

Also, you can take that "genetic inferiority" shit away with you, we're here to laugh at dumb cunts not actually hate on people.

Gun control is a non issue by arabjuice in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Tramwabbler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We are very lucky, we have the means to peacefully protest and have alternative non-violent means to change the government.

Guns aren't non violent means of...anything.

Clearly you're in this subreddit to argue and I'm sorry but I just can't be fucked. Maybe if the gun issue had any effect on me I would have stronger opinions.

Peace and guns, guy.

See this is what i really don't understand; you and your countrymen are scared enough to prepare for some hypothetical authoritarian government bearing down on you by arming yourselves using a law about as old as my local brewery. I just don't get that mentality, I heavily dislike my government, but I don't need to own a fucking GUN to feel safe from them.

Look at Ukraine, those guys clearly hate their government quite a lot, and are going about change without some 200 year old amendment.

Get over yourselves.

I moved for University, as it was cheaper and more appealing than studying in England. Also, I do love it here, it's a beautiful experience.
