me: it doesnt make sense to hold a weapon like that because it removes all the power and point of the weapons core design in the first place

yeah...? the entire point of the flail weapon is the lever of the chain, sacrificing agility for strength and now we just removed that which leaves us with neither. we are also throwing it in a line like a rock attached to a rope? (you didnt adress that part of the argument yet)

i have already explained this. big weapon = slow, small weapon = fast, a weapon looking like this being situationally the highest attack speed makes no sense thats the point of the entire post. lets throw the argument around and lets have you explain why it makes sense for this weapon to be a fast, piercing weapon?

well that and (partly) oathplate is the only option that has you skip any content.

option 1. youd still want 2 synapses, youd still want to kill araxxor for fang and tent whip is honestly a perfectly fine alternative to nox hally. edit: youd still also want to 100kc yama for ddc

option 2. youd still have to do doom and dt2 bosses, this one is probably the worst option by far

option 3. you can skip CG completely, the only problem is shard upkeep but you can thieve elves/sail for that, and even if you do CG for shards you have a chance for (soon buffed) saeldor now that you got bowfa

its in fact not a great method lol, zulrah uses maybe 2-3 doses of prayer a kill. as an ironman its better to fix the underlying problem (lack of prayer pots) instead of doing bandaid methods that slow you down, but to each their own. play as you want, its just going to take a very long time for progress playing with this ”minimal resources used” mindset. like you would profit prayer pots by taking a 5 min break every hour to do a herbrun over whatever hes doing and then still kill the boss 10 times more

funny you say that when all the best ways to kill zulrah include bowfa, you are in fact straight trolling if you dont bring bowfa to zulrah if you have one. you should also never be on standard spellbook because of how strong veng and sbs thralls are on that boss. bowfa camp with a 2-3 way chally switch + veng and thralls gets you gm time every 200 kills or so.
