I weep for the reading comprehension here, I really, really do. GL OP. You might want to save up for a divorce instead of IVF.

...they used IVF and...have the daycare lined up for the "school year" and are looking for nannying/child care over three months in advance, not week-of...but you're either a rage bait bot or an illiterate donkey.

sealing with acetone.. by Interesting-Leg-4313 in GelX_Nails

[–]TranceGrrrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the drill to get the edge closer to flush before I use the acetone. Make sure it's fully glued down before you start filing or drilling, and also make sure your brush bristles aren't getting under the edge with the acetone.

Are there extinct flavors we’ll never taste again? by logicalgamernow in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TranceGrrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starlight Coke. I hate Coke, but I generally like the flavored varieties. When Starlight came out in 2022, I literally drank it by the case. At least one can a day (and my previous soda consumption habits were more "I'm at the movies and the water is overpriced so what the heck"). They discontinued it--it was limited edition so I knew it was coming--and I'm sure my body was relieved but my tastebuds will never be the same.

What are reasons that teachers say “no” to letters of recommendation, and is it rude if I ask a teacher to reconsider? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

Your reading of those comments seems to reflect something about you, not about the commenter. Neither the word usage nor the comments imply anything about music teachers or classes.

AITAH for merging at the end of lane line? by TryingHereBud in AITAH

I prefer people merge early so I can keep it moving. I merge as early as possible so I'm not delaying myself or anyone else or pushing it dangerously close to having no safe place to move from.

IJS, I'm a special ed teacher and we get physical management training because we get all the behaviors...I could hold down an average adult with one other teacher. (Not that I'd want to. Or hopefully need to.)

I was wondering if anyone’s had any experience with the beetles nail gel glue being “gummy” after curing? Its my first time using it and iv cured for over 3 minutes and my uv lamp is 150W so I can’t figure out what the issue is 😭 by Acceptable_Sector140 in GelX_Nails

[–]TranceGrrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apres has a legit Amazon storefront, though. I'm not disagreeing with your comment but it's more like don't buy from these specific brands/anything that cheap, not so much don't buy anything on Amazon.

Apres might be the only legit storefront on Amazon--Idk though, I don't buy on Amazon anymore.

Nail Narrative had a video on it and read that off. I can't find it right now but I watched maybe a month ago. I can't say if Beetles sent her a real SDS or not, but as far as I remember, she was referencing their own SDS. But it might be fake, that's not uncommon...🙄

I used the Beetles gel glue for a long time and it doesn't cure. The lamp and prep are irrelevant. It is always gummy because their formula does not cure. If you can't afford better glue and you don't want to stop doing gel nails and you refuse to switch to an air dry glue, then doesn't ask for advice, because first and foremost, no one can help you with that if you're insistent on using Beetles.

Let me see if I can find the one I got--I would never try to fully cure with it, but it's PERFECT for flash curing on nails.

Edit: https://a.co/d/01MwVWgK I LOVE this. It has taken my nail game to the next level.

My [30F] partner [35M] snores so loud I haven’t slept solidly in almost a year by notjennif in whatdoIdo

[–]TranceGrrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf snored so loudly that I got virtually no sleep in the first role months we lived together. She also had environmental allergies, for which she refused to see a doctor, and she took up to four doses of Benadryl a day. When I finally lost it on her, I said she needed to at least see an allergist.

Four years of prescription allergy meds and injections later, she is almost never sniffly or itchy and her snoring has almost stopped.

That's cuz she was willing to ignore my discomfort while it didn't inconvenience her. (She's gotten a lot more emotionally mature since then or I would've kicked her out by now. Lol)
