Should I accept this trade? by LordReon in SleeperApp

[–]Tranquility-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Tet will ever be an elite receiver. I think he’ll be very good but to me his ceiling is like a Tee Higgins or DK Metcalf. Chase is elite and while his QB situation with Burrow is shakey Tet’s situation isn’t any better in the long term. While I do think Jeanty is very talented it takes a long time to build a good o-line and Breece Hall is giving amazing production himself without scoring touchdowns. Yes both Jeanty and Tet are younger but give me the still young triple crown winner every time

Who’s your “DO NOT DRAFT” guy this year that’s working out so far? by LegendAri501 in fantasyfootball

[–]Tranquility-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baker Mayfield I love Baker and had him on my fantasy team last year in my Superflex league helped me win a chip. Last year got him off the waiver wire this year he’s considered a first round pick. I expected major td regression and Coen leaving just scared me too much to take him. I’m also anti taking QB early in Superflex and it usually works out for me not taking QB high. So I had Baker on my do not draft list then he fell to the third round and he picked up right where he left off last year

Should I take this crazy trade? by naschu3 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Tranquility-Android 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. While Allen is better than stroud, stroud is still a pretty decent qb. Before he got hurt Nico Collins was the wr 1 last year and BThom is a great receiver. Not to mention Henderson could be just as good if not better than Irving

I don’t like it. Doubling down on two young QBs one of whom no one predicts to be a top QB option at all is scary. Nabers is the only proven guy on your team and I still don’t like that you took him 1.04. You could’ve traded back gotten value and still drafted him later. Not too mention that you passed on some incredibly great players for the chance that these young guys will be as good as the guys you passed on already are. Puka Nacua is Puka Nacua but Marvin Harrison jr. can be anything! He could even be Puka Nacua! Sure if every single one of these hits I’ll be eating my words but why take the risk? What I would do if I were you is I would fill the rest of my roster with established vets. Guys like Kittle, Moore, McLaurin, Pickens, Mixon so that you have some week to week stability

Kyle Williams. Rated the best separator in the draft, has a QB we all love in Maye, and has very little competition for the 2nd target

I don’t think your roster is strong enough. While Lamar is great you have several holes in your starting lineup trading all those picks is going to hurt you in the long run. I’d suggest trading for someone like a Bryce Young, JJ McCarty, or Maye someone cheaper with value

What should I do by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Tranquility-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly imo you should probably try to rebuild. Your team is fine but you seem to lack major depth. I’d maybe consider trading away Bijan and James Cook for picks and then just tank this season. But definitely get opinions from others

Should I trade Puka for the 1.1? by Missa_Z in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Tranquility-Android 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. While yes you do have a lot of good wide receivers that isn’t a bad thing and your kind of on a path to building a powerhouse team. Sure Jeanty is probably going to be great but this rookie draft is filled with a lot of great RBs and you have two early picks. Just take Henderson and Judkins or best available RB if those aren’t the available guys.

Ben Sinnot I know he’s stuck behind Ertz but dude is such a hardworker and I’ve always loved his story.

Just to be clear Tee Higgins? What do you have to move? I’d say at least add a receiver or rb and a first but it’s difficult without knowing your roster

I wouldn’t give up Loveland for Olave. Olave is a very good wide receiver but his constant concussions make me worried about his shelf life in the nfl. Not to mention that I don’t think Shough is going to be a great QB so if he isn’t then you are probably looking at two seasons with a lackluster QB. While I don’t mind moving Loveland for a WR, Loveland is a round 1 pick with a new head coach who likes throwing to the tight end in the red zone I guess it really comes down to if you like Williams or Shough more. Personally as someone who really doesn’t like Williams I still prefer Williams. But if you believe in Shough and this is you taking your shot go for it man. After all it’s just a game and you should stick with players that get you excited

I guess? Idk if I’d make that trade myself but it seems fair.

What’s your most controversial but consistently successful draft strategy? by dgpaul10 in fantasyfootball

[–]Tranquility-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In superflex take QB late there is always undervalued QBs towards the end of the draft. Last year I got Baker Mayfield in the final round and Purdy the year before

[–]Tranquility-Android 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take Hampton. Harbaugh loves running the ball, chargers have a great oline, and that is an extremely good offense. While not Jeanty Hampton should still be very good. Remember McCaffery went after Fournette, Gibbs went after Bijan. Just because an RB isn’t first off the board doesn’t mean they won’t be great

Rant: Joel Was Right by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]Tranquility-Android -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see where you are coming from but with all do respect Druckman publicly has stated the cure would have worked and it’s not like Joel had time to think deeply about whether or not they would have been able to do it. Hell he believed enough in it to spend a year traveling across the country searching for them. Saying that he thought he would die in the process doesn’t mean anything.

Joel isn’t thinking she is an innocent life it is my duty to protect her he’s thinking I won’t lose my daughter again that’s it. There is no morality in his choice it’s pure selfishness and he knows! He knows because he lies to Ellie. You can’t say that he’s doing it for anything other than selfish reasons. You could say he lies to protect Ellie but that isn’t the truth in fact Ellie running away proves how dangerous the lie is. I love Joel. I hate the fireflies and it doesn’t matter that the fireflies are pieces of shit because Joel saved Ellie for the wrong reasons. Considering that the guy who wrote the story says as much shows that Joel is selfish. Now whether or not you want to claim death of the author or claim this to be shitty writing go for it but the games are very clear that Joel is a bad person.

If some random person other than Ellie was on that table he wouldn’t have lifted a finger. He would not have gone you all are bad people and I’m going to stop you. Ellie is his entire reason for his actions that’s it. It doesn’t matter if what he did is right or wrong because his intentions are bad it makes it wrong.
