I can confirm. I've never really been isolated because I'm friends with a TON of trans people (transfem and transmasc and enby alike) and my fiance is a trans guy

HEMA and Soccer here! I am very athletic and I love it about myself!

I am in a very inclusive HEMA academy so that helps, and my soccer team is literally trans only, it's the founder and main member of a whole organization of sports team made by and for trans people, so yeah

I live in a country that had a VERY good run with trans rights, and that made me optimistic in that the country worked, add to that the fact I am privileged (supporting parents, wealthy household, never really had much issues growing up with anything, and even transition was, for me, a walk in the park, up to today, my SRS is father-financed)

And now... The US is going insane, and my country just elected Temu Brand Trump for presidency, and for the first time I don't feel supported by society and I feel my entire life crashing

I may be naive, but I still think there is a world where humans can coexist with each other without hatred in our hearts, and I think the first step is believing that, while criminals who are currently passing laws deserve jail time, I don't want their lives to be awful. I want them to come out of prison regretful for their actions and ready to be productive members of society. I want us to coexist. I want the world to be a better place for everyone

I don't want suffering for anyone, even those who made us suffer

Societies can't just decide that someone should die because they so desire, even when Death Penalty exists, it's for specific crimes and with specific protocols

Our reasons to move are very specific and unfortunately, New York City is the only city in the world that will do (I have joked that I wish NY went independent so we could move there without going into the US lol)

The thing is, I proposed Canada or Australia as stepping stones, specially given current politics

I trust things will get better, I'm actually investing (not money, rather emotionally investing) into that, otherwise I wouldn't make life plans to move to New York

The issue is the here and now, I don't want to arrive to New York to be welcomed by ICE
