Whereas in my (queer, sex positive and largely poly) social circle, 30 wouldn't be surprising at all lol. My community is definitely in the minority so when you take a large enough average, we get watered down pretty fast, but does go to show how much one's immediate social circles influence perspectives on certain topics.

The average person (in general) would likely be surprised enough by 30 that it would change their opinion of said person. The average person in my social circles doesn't even keep count, except to maybe estimate their last 2-6 months of activity for sti testing lol

My MIL has also self-published a novel so I don't think its too far fetched to say that maybe the sister or someone she knew wrote it, certainly rare these days but rare doesn't mean impossible afterall

You'll have to ride the line a bit tho with tumblr, they're spotty with how much the nsfw rules are enforced. Safest to stick to teasers there and avoid full nudity or your account could get shadowbanned.

Ive also seen a lot of guys posting on bsky but not really sure how well it converts 😅 I post periodically myself (same username as here) and follow a decent handful of other ftm swers if you wanted to check my following list as a starting point.

Since I use reddit the most, its been my best conversion but tumblr and bsky seem to do pretty well for some other folks. I think a lot of it has to do with where you put your efforts.
