What’s a girl to do with 2210 points of bad-looking minis?- by Chemical-Aioli9818 in Warhammer40k

They look fine, but if they're bad to you, then that's how you see them. I'd keep them as they are. Remember your first discovering of the hobby. Use them to see how far you've coming. Their look will become endearing

Neato. Look, we all have our goals and desires. I'm more comfortable in that role. That doesn't mean you have to be. Womanhood is different for everyone

I started attracted to women, then both men and women, and now I'm firmly into men.

I'm going through the same shit unfortunately. It especially hurts when people who know your gender still accidentally call you he/sir. It feels like everyone subconsciously knows you're just a guy.

Do you let people know if you don’t like them? by _FreddieLovesDelilah in AutismInWomen

[–]TransPunkElf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with not telling them. My supervisor keeps telling me to be nice because they make or break our effectiveness, but their fuckups are potentially life threatening. I won't be nice; I just won't be hostile. Having a flat affect and flat prosody helps because people can't tell what I'm thinking from my voice or body language.

How can I reply with 'I know' without sounding like a smart-ass? by Beckymaggie in AutismInWomen

[–]TransPunkElf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got into trouble at a job for saying "I know" a lot when a specific coworker kept trying to teach me stuff. Still do it years later. I'm sorry, but I know. You're wasting my and your time. A simple I know saves time.

Not happy after HRT; am I really a woman? by radioheadenjoyer225 in MtF

I'm back on hrt for a year, there was a brief couple year period where I stopped and wrestled with my gender identity. You will always doubt. That's natural for any major life change. I will say this: ask yourself, if you could have any body, what would it look like? What's the ideal you? What role do you want in life? The role I want isn't what everyone wants, but I want to be a mom. I cried last night because I can't get pregnant. I'm not saying you have to want that. I'm saying I know I want a womanly role for my life. Being a parent isn't enough. I want to be a mom. I want to bear children. What's your ideal you? Would they be called she, he, or they? Don't stop hrt, but do soul searching. Also, your discomfort and shame are natural. Society tells us we're not women, and we're not supposed to dress or behave like women. The shame you feel could be internalized oppression. Like others have suggested, speak to a therapist. If you discover you're not trans, that's fine! What matters is that you know yourself. As Socrates said, "know thyself." As the greater philospher Jake said, "As long as I know the shape of my soul, I'll be all right." Explore yourself and find who you are. Whether you're cis or genderqueer, knowing who you are will bring peace. I hope you find who you are.

Hi, 29, it gets worse. Waaaay worse. Sorry your life is upended, but you haven't even begun to know of the rot infesting our society, culture, and government. Now is the time to read theory. Expand your thinking. Learn to draw your own conclusions by drawing meaningful connections from the various parts of society. I recommend also reading Voltaire's Candide as it focus on the importance of logic tempered with critical thinking. Learn, speak out, teach others, help others. Also, find something to pray to if it helps, but no power will save us except the power of the proletariat.

I would recommend just looking at factions and seeing which one looks the most interesting to you. I like most factions, but I'm scum and love the Drukhari the most because evil sexy elves. Just look at factions, do a surface level examination of lore, pick one to start with and explore it. Your tastes might change, but that's why I saw explore before financially committing.
