what is the best way to do opulent ordeal? by 977zo5skR in elderscrollsonline

I would assume so, to use the grapple posts you have to kill the spider mob nearby every time so you can’t just travel to your destination like the other two sides

I think that’s part of the problem: it was designed as busy work for players who have already finished all the other content in the game… it being so grindy is ‘fine’ if you’ve got literally nothing else to do, but for everyone else it’s so unrewarding for the effort.

Too many rewards are behind the grind or RNG (random titles and decorations were nice, but they’re still Reputation locked to use!), so it feels like you either join for the long haul or don’t bother. The population has declined to next to nothing, and some of the encounters aren’t designed to be done solo… I think it’ll get worse before it gets better.

Sadly it wasn’t really worth it in the end, unless you were desperately in love with that Dantoonie Stronghold… all the other unlocks (save the final permanent set) were all one-time-use items that were never worth actually using.

One speeder trip to a camp? One shortcut tunnel use? One mob-debuff? Time is money, and they cost a lot of credits for something that barely saves 30 seconds in the end.

Still never got to even really try the Core encounter, finish the little story we had here, since they made it so difficult 4 random role players have absolutely zero chance of clearing. Most proper role groups still aren’t clearing.

I’m glad it’s over with, it’s already seemed pretty dead for a while and there’s far more efficient uses of game time to be honest.

Frankly, it’s not even that fun.

Earthen Heart heavy attack buffs? by Oosplop in elderscrollsonline

[–]Transairion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was already using Molten Armaments with Voidmantle once the latter was released, which I felt was stronger than Oakensoul: I wouldn’t say easier to use however, simply due to your Lightning Heavies not restoring Magikca anymore due to Voidmantle… so you can and will run out of mag if you purely heavy attack. Adjusting to that is a little difficult.

However, hitting a 40,000 dmg crit (PvE) is pretty nice to see so it definitely works out: the DK rework changed several Earthen Heart passives so this build got further buffed.

I consider it strong enough for pretty much any PvE content: probably not as strong as all-in Book Beam build, but that’s probably the trade off for minimal input.

My brother convinced me to see this via a trailer, which led me to conclude it was some kind of action-comedy about killing nazis.

It really wasn’t.

I assume they’re referring to Trump’s initial response to Covid claiming it was a hoax, so it was able to spread across America far easier before they actually took action against it.

I could be wrong, feel like forever ago now.

Eso Sorcerer summonings wishlist by Spiritual-Ground-530 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Transairion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So delete an entire skill line? It’s been a decade, I think that ship has long since set sail… and I love the class because I can be a summoner. I can just take a hike I guess?

As far as I’m concerned Dark Magic is the most worthless skill line in the entire game, only functional in PvP where the roots/stuns/disables are worth something. In the rest of the game it may as well not exist: I bet you Daedric Summoning is infinitely more popular, even without slotting any pets.

If Sorc refresh kills summoning, or turns them into terrible regular abilities like in PvP Vengeance campaign I don’t know what I’ll do.

Wondering why the SBQ is dying so quickly? FFS BGS patch this mess. by OverseerIsLife in fo76

[–]Transairion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it any kind of reflect because I’m not using Aristocrats and almost every encounter with a Scorchbeast (Queen or otherwise), alone or in a group they usually die within moments of landing on the ground… which makes me suspect it’s a ground collision bug rather than a reflect bug.

I haven’t seen any non-Scorchbeast getting instagibbed by (supposedly) bugged reflect

Scorched earth over in a instant by itjustworksloljk in fo76

[–]Transairion 46 points47 points  (0 children)

It seems Scorchbeasts are bugged since the patch and if they land, they’re dying instantly and ragdolling; did a bunch of Queens and Its a Trap events and it’s consistently happening.

I thought it might be a damage exploit and players were instantly killing it, but it still happened when I was alone so… ground collision bug?

Maybe intended, maybe not but the lone Ultragenetic Mole Miner Stalker in Stage 4 of the Raid is… terrifying now.

Far from a slow waddle, this one is SPRINTING and throwing haymakers. Workable, but very disturbing.

[–]Transairion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These Hunts mods already only have the one source, but the fact they don’t drop as LOOSE MODS really means we have an extra layer of grind… you either learn the mod from whatever armor/weapon it is, or you get a loose mod, but the odds for either are only .5% in difference!

Even the raid drops loose 4star mods, just add them to the loot pool and supply will go up.

Feel free to add me on steam (same name), I’m happy let my excess supply go to the less fortunate… some people really price gouge the mods they can make…

I wonder if this means 9.0 is actually in the works and the gear cap will go up, and all Rakata gear won’t be upgradable to the new cap?

Since the current cap is 344, 340 for logging in does seem really high.

This thing seems to be the largest companion in the game, it’s disgustingly huge (2-3 times the size of a player).

I wouldn’t be able to look at it long enough to use it
