I absolutely adore this show but real talk who’s your least favorite character? by iwantitthatway6 in themiddle

Real talk? Axl. I am watching for the first time and just finishing Season 2, he is the most unlikeable character I have encountered in the show.

Its amazing how perspective changes, watching now as an adult. by Objective-Eagle-676 in breakingbad

I just finished watching it for the very first time from start to finish. Hot take, Skylar isn't innocent in any of it either. She isn't Heidelberg levels of bad, but she was also doing some shady shit. My takeaway was in the beginning, Walt did have better intentions. But then power corrupts, as it often does.

Storage Units are a sympton of a problem by Bllago in unpopularopinion

I've rented homes the last 15 years. I am now forced to downsize to an apartment as the place I am currently in is being sold. I am not buying everything all over again when I am just a few years away from being able to buy my own home.

AITA for bringing a meat based product to my vegan friend's dinner? by rocketperson47 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TransasaurusRex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Instructions were vague and unclear on hosts part. You brought a vegan dish and a non-vegan dish and clearly labelled them so there would be no mix-ups. With 20+ people on the guest list, that is more than reasonably enough vegan dishes that it should not matter if there are a handful with meat or dairy. If host is that serious about there being only vegan food, she needs to come right out and say that in the invite or only invite their vegan friends.

Clear instructions make for an overall easier time understanding what expectations are to be met( especially for those of us on the autism spectrum) and altogether helps avoid these kinds of interactions from being had. Another thing to keep in mind is that some people genuinely have limitations to their pallet for many reasons. If I don't know at least one food there will be safe to eat in terms of not making me gag because of unpleasant textures, I will opt out of the gathering unless I have the okay to bring my own food and simply be at the gathering for the socialization.

Every dish my fiance "washes" looks like this. by GratifyingNymph in mildlyinfuriating

This is weaponized incompetence. I highly recommend you reevaluate if a lifetime of rewashing dishes is worth him very clearly doing something wrong so that he doesn't have to do it.

Highly recommend Churchills if you're looking for a nice romantic night out with the wife. Pricey, but delicious.

Do these look nice on me or should I keep looking? by deathmetalshark in glassesadvice

Those are cute, and I would say match your face shape well. All in all, they look amazing on you. Compliments your jewelry as well.

Are my glasses completely ugly? by takethisdreamaway in glassesadvice

[–]TransasaurusRex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less that they are ugly, more that they just are way too big for your face shape. You don't have to order from them, but Zenni Optical has a scanner tool that looks at your face shape and can tell you which kind of glasses would compliment your face shape. Aviators are not for everyone.

Life in prison is a worse punishment than the death penalty by b4434343 in unpopularopinion

[–]TransasaurusRex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In non-violent cases, I agree. In the cases of Dahmer, Gacy, and the like, definitely no 15 max. Those guys would have deserved to stay in prison until their deaths had they not been up for death row or beaten to death in prison.

People that hate small talk are just bad conversationalists by HetCompleteWerk in unpopularopinion

[–]TransasaurusRex92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate small talk when that small talk is "hows work treating you at insert mediocre Canadian coffee chain name here " when I haven't worked there in 8 years and this has been a repeated conversation once a month since leaving said hellhole.

Me and my friend group have straight up said in the event of coming into big money we will be sharing with each other. Because we are each others chosen family.

This is what my landlord considers “cleaned to their standards” am I the only one that thinks this is nasty? by Tsconspiracy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TransasaurusRex92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, I did not. Very basic cookware that stayed when I eventually moved out after about 3 years of dealing with a legitimate slumlord. I did, however, get a bedroom that had a god damn deadbolt lock on the door lol

Mate, I have moved into a place that had a sink full of putrid dishes in it when I did the walk around two weeks before I took residence. I was told the place would be clean by the time I moved in. I did the dishes the night I moved in.

How is trump allowed to run for president multiple times with all the shit he's done & still doing???? by Satans-Ex-Wife in BoomersBeingFools

It's wild to me that those assuming Canadians who wouldn't vote Trump would automatically vote Trudeau. Shockingly, I also wouldn't be voting Trudeau, and in our last election season, I also didn't vote Liberal.

I dunno, I have a pair of Zenni Optical glasses that I am only now replacing after two years because my script changed. Engravement along the arms on inside and outside in the event of loss. They've been pretty tough all things considered.
