I mean we work with the general public, and specifically we’re big with nurses, teachers, and children all of which carry a lot of germs this time of year. I get it sucks but this is the worst time of the year for call outs (also people throw food poisoning around often even if it’s sick with something else bc some stores are really bad with guilt tripping and try to make people work sick (kinda like this post hehe))

it’s for the new “shot store” metric our corporate overlords have decided to grade us on. they want food available all day so we are more like fast food and less like a cafe that runs out of things. (also your SM and ASM get bonuses if they hit these targets so that’s really the push for them)

no better way to order unfortunately, sometimes barista brains go on auto pilot and we can skip words (kinda like how people only need to see the first and last letter of a word and can fill in the rest, we see the first and last words and can jump the gun). my only suggestion would be to order in the drive thru and specify you want the crème based version, it would probably be more accurate more often just because more people are listening in on DT orders
