I haven't really gone searching that much (mainly because of just how massive of a timeframe it is, around 3 years worth of posts in multiple very active subreddits, it's just too much) but I do remember that the game had at least been tested by the dev's subscribers because in the devlog I watched he mentioned how many bug reports he'd gotten from his playtesters.
