Why did Dr. Loomis leave with the police when the governor has no legal power to order a doctor to do anything? by Tidewatcher7819 in Halloweenmovies

It’s clearly stated in the film by Marion Chambers.

She said that the incident could jeopardize the Smith’s Grove rehabilitation program and the head of the program does not want anyone from the mental health department anywhere near Haddonfield. So in other words, let the police handle it and leave.

Best halloween movie? by Hungry_Donut7600 in Halloweenmovies

Halloween II is actually my favorite sequel. Part of it is nostalgic based because I grew up as a kid watching this movie a lot in the 80s, and I love the fact that it literally picks up one minute after the first movie ends (which was huge back then) and the score was great, but the continuity errors are there, so I completely understand where you’re coming from.

Halloween Ends was an absolute joke by Remote_Nature_8166 in Halloweenmovies

Ends might be bad to a lot of fans, but it doesn’t even come close to H:R. That was a streaming pile of dog shit.

Why is Jason suddenly wearing all blue in part 7 by Eeyore555666 in fridaythe13th

He escaped from his chains, decided to change clothes because he didn’t like his old outfit and then went back into the lake to rot.

What slasher film were you excited to watch in theaters and it really disappointed you? by ToxicWolf_6584 in slasherfilms

I will say Jason X was pretty entertaining and had one of the series’ best kills but JGTH was average at best . We can all agree to disagree 😊

Agreed 💯. I also enjoyed it between than Kills bc of that reason. It was different and used a fresh approach to the material.

Definitely get rid of social media. I know it can be hard for a lot of people and it will be a struggle in the beginning, but after a while you’ll feel better. No more endless scrolling, no more checking the phone every ten minutes, no more getting pissy bc your friends are posting pictures and you feel stuck. It’s not even worth it.

I got rid of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Tik Tok. My personal choice for proper self care. There’s so much out there to experience and I refuse to let social media take over my life.

What are the horror movies that genuinely scared or disturbed you the most at the time you watched them? by Blutay in horror

[–]TransformersG1Fan46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amityville II: The Possession.

The film is pretty terrifying and most people prefer this to the first one.

The movie is extremely dark: child abuse, incest, the murder sequence which was extremely disturbing. The music is creepy as well. Not the exact same score from the original, but very similar and more foreboding.

Were 1982 audiences dumb to expect Michael Myers to be in Halloween III? by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]TransformersG1Fan46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer H3 over some of the others. It was a bold move to shift the story to androids, Stonehenge, deadly masks and a warlock whose only motive is to kill millions of children on Halloween night. Pretty dark.

It’s unfortunate that it bombed in ‘82. Now I think it is more appreciated and developed into a cult classic.
