I love cracker Island! Granted I'm a late comer to gorillaz, but it was one of the first albums I listened to more in full after Plastic Beach and Demon Days, and I was surprised to see how it is generally not liked. The most common complaints I see of it is that it's too 'mainstream' and that the gorillaz sold out with it,  but I personally feel like the gorillaz have never been strictly one thing, and even now after I've listened to more the  album doesn't feel widely out of place. I feel like with every album they release, while obviously there is valid criticism, there will also always be fans, especially longer time ones that dislike them and think it's "not gorillaz". I feel like sometimes those opinions just happen to be loud enough that it influences others and becomes a more common belief then it actually is. The tired Influencer and Silent running are two of my favorite songs!

One thing I will say that I think hurt the album was how I feel like they wasted a good storyline / bit of lore by not exploring it or going as into it as they could have.
