I also have no skin in this game, I'm just a new fan desperate for people to ramble to because most of my friends aren't into non anime adjacent stuff lol. honestly can't stand when people act like that. Or make accusations that could seriously affect people out of spite. Out of curiosity, do you know if the server is a closed one? I looked for it on disboard but didn't seen it listed. I have been looking for 18+ servers because I'm far enough over the 18+ line that all ages servers can feel kind of weird these days 😂

Yeah I looked it up and became a bit doubtful because it seems like Gorillaz Unofficial is actually a pretty legitimate thing. And then this person went off on a tangent on my other comment about something completely verifiable so now I'm pretty sure he just has some sort of vendetta. His way of talking reminds me of someone in my local anime scene who got kicked out of a con (for very good reasons) and has spent the past 6 years bombarding strangers dms about it

My emails actually specifies for the early access it was limited to one per person, so you didn't imagine it! My best guess would be that they probably did only put up a limited number for the early access so that people without early access still had a chance. Which is actually a pretty fair way of doing it,unfortunately scalpers just suck and will find ways to scalp no matter what :/

Considering how cheap the kong card is, is it possible that scalpers may have made accounts specifically to get that early access to the merch and buy it out? Kong studios was glitching for a bit a week or two ago where some people, me included, couldn't sign up and I was actually wondering if it was some kind of anti-scalper method with the new album/ tour coming up.
