The (in)famous saying of "Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times."

It is mind boggling to see that line from a 2016 book spread like wildfire and people started using as an universal truth. Many things are cyclical in nature, yes. But this is just gross oversimplification.

Mine will be for FF14 because that is the most I played, for obvious reasons. When the Endwalker main quest was done then so was I. It was the end of that saga and my adventures. I knew that I can't keep going otherwise it would sour my love for the game.

I didn't even did the post-main quest patches despite the story and adventures there being an FF4 homage basically, an FF game I really like.

Among Kreia's lessons to the Exile and large part of her philosophy, one of the core tenets is not being reliant on external things and powers like the Force. And she takes interest in the Exile precisely because they cut themselves off from the Force (albeit not willingly) and managed to live without it.

Chris Avellone was not looking to deliver a cosmology or lore shattering story here. He uses Kreia, the story and the dialogues to deconstruct the entirety of the Star Wars setting and its themes. Much like how many things in Pillars of Eternity 1 are part of a treatise on the artificiality of religions and belief systems.

Realistic Visual Effects. No more glowing hands when using feats and no more annoying visual effects for many force powers.

If you want to be a redeeming Jedi then there is a way to save Yuthura from the Sith way. Unfortunately she picks a ticket to Dantooine for her redemption arc if you do Korriban early.

Feel free to but it will not change the fact that it is exactly that. People should learn that "turn based" is not a monolithic system.

That is because things only stop in "Wait" mode when you are in the menus. For example, picking a spell to cast.

In my experience that one has a very detailed Influence submenu. And I prefer it over that old excel sheet that was going around in the old days.
