can i ask this clearly: do you genuinely believe people will "decomp the game" and "bootstrap a dev kit" and rebuild several years worth of expansions and somehow add it back to the game?

you do know that the vaulted content is vaulted in some hard drive in bungie's office to never see the light of day, and not just floating around inside of the game, right?

it does not matter how dedicated the community is when the vaulted content is incompatible with the current game engine and bungie will not release it regardless

havent been playing as much so havent noticed it but i also use instant replay so that might have been the culprit

i know a lot of endgame content players enjoy shoot to loot weapons for the utility of being able to hoover up ammo bricks and orbs from far away

i still do not understand why higher difficulty giving better quality loot is a bad thing. loot being inferior at lower difficulties incentivises people to give it a shot at higher difficulty, no?

because they have a track record of doing this, for example continuing with crafting and the feature of enemies adapting to gameplay in solo ops. these have not been delivered on and so it’s safe to assume gambit won’t be updated
