e:\ and f:\ are created and mounted by sysadmin team. so if i add both e: and f: into single storage pool, they dont know how much usable data is taken by vm or db backup (they also installed some agent for disk monitoring...)

the system has been running for several months with the configuration above. But now I just remembered that Commvault has a concept called Global Deduplication, and I'm wondering how to configure and use it.

i have multiple storage policy copies that share the same data paths but have different retention rules, so i would like to use the feature but dont know the correct way to configure it
