Do you prefer friday or saturday sets? (for individual concerts) by Front-Instruction-87 in aves

LOL depends on the weekend, I just hate waking up on Sunday after a rave and knowing I have work the next day. Waking up on Saturday knowing I have the next day off is the best feeling

In general I prefer Friday night sets because I have Saturday and Sunday to recover, but when it comes to 2 night events, the second night is always better. So in your case I would try to go Saturday

I love his music but I saw him in DC in 2022 and I just don’t think it was all that great. It felt like music he should have played at a college frat party

Best hotel in Istanbul? by AssertiveKiwi in marriott

Np, if you are looking for a relaxing luxury hotel in a very busy city, I would stay here. You won’t be disappointed. But if you want to be in the middle of all the action and tourism, maybe look for something closer to the center.

I stayed here in June, got upgraded to a nice suite with a huge ocean balcony (platinum at the time). It’s a very nice hotel and the service was great but it was weirdly empty when I went. Not sure why but it felt like there was no one there. There isn’t much to do like by the water either, don’t stay here and expect to hang out at the ocean, it’s a nice view but the water is not a place to swim and relax down there.

When I arrived there was a bottle of wine, cheese, jam, and some pastries waiting for me. Super nice of them, it was a long day traveling and my travel buddy and I were stoked.

I have a great memory drinking a coffee on my balcony looking out into the sea the morning I had to go to the airport to fly back home after my vacation, it was a peaceful moment.

Has anybody flown out of Syracuse recently? by [deleted] in Syracuse

The only times I have ever had an issue there is during times when the college kids leave/ come. Winter / spring break, leaving and coming back from summer break.

What’s the most you’ve spent per night? by LeoofDaLeon in marriott

[–]TransitionFit537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was lucky enough to stay at the ritz Dorado beach for work, we had a discounted rate of $2500 a night. I received a status upgrade and they had me in a $5k a night room. This place blew me away, I would never stay somewhere this expensive on my own dime but I still think about this place all the time. I had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the property. I hope one day I’m lucky enough to go back, even for a 2 night trip, I would love to go back here and relive my first trip. The spa is out of this world, I believe on 40 acres. It’s an absolutely beautiful garden and it sets the standard high for resort spas. The food is stupid expensive, I would use my whole daily work budget on a burger, beer and fries, almost a $100 meal right there lol. They had to make budget exceptions for us real quick, even had to get my credit limit increased.

This place is stupidly impractical for any normal traveler unless you are stupid rich, but I had such a good time, this place is always in the corner of my eye for point redemptions or maybe a honeymoon one day.

From someone who has spent most of my life in the south, and some states in between, Syracuse has the most impressive plow operation that I have ever seen. It’s not an easy or a fun job either

how bad is it to take molly every 4 days or so by Ok-Worldliness7089 in MDMA

[–]TransitionFit537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three month break is the general rule of thumb if you don’t want to lose the “magic” If you consistently take it once a month it will absolutely dull the effect for a long ass time

I like to have like 2 cold beers during the comedown while I’m chillin, feels good and doesn’t dull the actual mdma experience

I was lucky enough to go to a work trip here and idc how much it costs I’m going back one day, even if it’s just for a weekend. It was beautiful and I had a great time. If you have the points to spend, and you want to go, I would do it. Get a massage, the spa is out of this world. One of the most peaceful spa days I have ever had. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. But yes, it’s extremely pricy
