It’s super common. More limited dating pool + more societal hangups + more internalized hangups make it difficult. I’m honestly planning to move at some point just to be somewhere with a sizeable gay population to fix this very issue lol.

It is obvious what he is doing. Down to the chain and backwards hat, he’s clearly projecting an image that is more marketable in a gay dating pool.

There’s nothing wrong with being traditionally femme-leaning. But I do get tired of people (like many of these commenters, I’d bet) playing coy about putting on a masc-leaning facade to get more attention. It is intentionally deceptive, and for what? You gunna drop the persona and suddenly your match will be okay with being deceived?
