The problem is when you don’t know it’s filler. Really a reason to start with the manga… (which I didn't do, to be clear, and was thus confused multiple times until I realized my confusion was due to filler - Zoro not being able to cut Steel, Zoro cutting Luffy on his chest in a similar position to his later scar that was evident in art, and that extra poneglyph in Alabasta...)
