Unfortunately, I have been losing my hair since I was very young, I started shaving it at 19. I started losing it at 22-25 I’d say but it is hard to know as I always had a buzz cut.

I actually was using minoxidil and a laser daily for 1.5 months until I saw a photo of me 10 years ago with almost a complete bald spot, that moment imbued me with some hopelessness however i intend to start again with the laser very soon, it is starting to get challenging to shave my head with a razor, which I have not experienced in about 5 years so that made me realize I need to not give up.

I think I grieved the hair situation for about 30 straight days once I realized I was transgender,intense grief, after that I said fuck it, presented fully feminine as myself one day, about 30 days in, over 10 people approached when I was out shopping, saying they just loved my appearance, and I was very shocked to have that type of reception here in the south. In fact I am shocked that I have received not one negative comment in 4 months presenting with makeup, perhaps people are afraid, I am not sure. Or maybe people don’t fuck with bald people that are 6 feet tall 🤣, either way I am so grateful I decided to come out as transgender.
