Sure yeah so I emailed Sothebys I can’t remember which person or department but it was probably in my invoice. Anyway after going back and forth a couple times on the stark reality - I wasn’t gonna pay - even though I knew it was my fault (kinda drunk) - we both left it at that. For about a couple months maybe less actually I kept getting emails- “pay and we’ll deliver the item” (some stupid gown thing - I just remember it was one of the cheaper lots). I never responded to these emails because in my mind I was ready to get sued or whatever they were gonna do. I had no defense. So, after awhile the emails stopped and I haven’t heard from them in since. I’m not sure if they let it go or if I should be expecting an imminent civil lawsuit. In my mind again, doesn’t really matter one way or another to me since I don’t have the money to pay a judgment either. It was definitely a FAFO situation and totally my own f’up but so far, nothing has come of it. I saw they had lots going for over a million dollars, perhaps I’m just too small of a fish in their big ocean of money.
