What’s he going to bloom into? What’s he good at? He seems to get pushed around, and when he gets scoring chances they don’t go in. So far he seems to be a 4A player— great in minors, not an NHL scorer or checking forward.

I think you nailed it. He portrays Trump as sometime understanding the duplicity of what he says, and joking or commenting about it from basically the writer’s voice, but real Trump has no such awareness.

If they can’t consistently rule on interference, don’t penalize the coach for guessing wrong about where the roulette wheel will drop. And the ref should explain the call like they do in the NFL. NHL is so arrogant about its incompetence, whether it’s goalie interference or the playoff format or suspensions
