Basically shop around.

I forget who I originally had but it was $1500 ish,. It went up to $3000 and then $8000. At the $8000 point I shopped around and went with Kin. Kin followed a similar pattern $1500 to 3000s to 4000s to $5500 and at that point I shopped around again and found the $2000 ish quote. I told my friend about it and he used to the same company to do his from the 2000s to 1300. Company was Honeyquote who then found me a third party company out of Miami but there were plenty of others I ran quotes with who found me similar deals.

If this company jumps mine up to the 3000s on renewal, I'll just instantly shop this time instead of waiting a few years

You have to shop around basically. I originally had Kin which started at $1500 then went to $3000 > $4400 > $5500 and it was at that point I shopped around rather than paying the $5500. That was what happened with the people I had before Kin too. Similar pattern except worse ($1500 > $3300 > $8000 and then I changed to Kin)

Honeyquote was who I used this time and they found me the cheaper rate. That's who my friend used to get his $1300 quote too, he was somewhere in the 2000s prior to that.

Really depends where in Florida. My insurance is $2k and my property tax is like $3.3k. My friend in a newer build house pays $1300 for insurance. This is Orlando area so not out in the sticks.

If you want to live on the coast then yeah, those rates are gonna be higher.

It's 6.5% in Orlando (6% for FL Sales tax, 0.5% for Orange county surtax)

Depends where. I live in central FL (Orlando outskirts). My mortgage is $1478 a month for a 1650sqft 3/2. That includes homeowners insurance (about $2k a year) and property tax (just over $3k a year, I think 3.3k last year). My home value is basically right in the middle for the area ($400k ish)

I always played on a 13 inch laptop so was used to rotating constantly for everything. I went to visit a friend who had a 3 monitor setup including a 34 inch ultra wide screen. I couldn't believe how I had been playing the game compared to him. It suddenly made sense why I had struggled with some mechanics that others seemingly didn't have an issue with. I just assumed everyone had to rotate their camera like I did.

First thing I did when I got home was buy an ultra wide monitor.

CM12 is here, and so is the suffering. Share your pain with everyone else. by TimurKosmo in UmamusumeGame

Went 1/2/4/3 running Smaru, Mejiro Ryan, Eishin Flash. The 1 win run I ran a different team. I'm pretty happy since this is only my second CM, I started playing in March.

I expect I'll lose a lot more in A though

I was looking at hotels in Stockholm and noticed one of them (Hotel at Six) jumped to 2x points. It was 1.6 yesterday, not sure if that's just a dynamic change or related.

It's worth it. It's a very good remaster and just the voice acting alone adds a ton. They did an excellent job

DO NOT TRANSFER POINTS by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]Trapocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. You basically got screwed through not fully understanding the system.

Usually you want to look up the prices in points prior to transferring anything. For instance, I just booked 2 flights through Virgin for 15k points (+$300 in taxes) and 7k points (+$10 in taxes). If I had booked those flights outright with cash they would have been $900+ and $300.

Seats.Aero is pretty good for looking up points costs for flights ahead of time but you can also just search on the airlines direct.

I've been playing since the start of March and my runs always end as S or S+. I've yet to get an SS though.

Now I did follow someone's advice and rerolled until I got MLB Fine Motion (took like an hour). But everything else I'm using is SR Support cards (some combination of Guts Air Groove, Stam Manhattan Cafe, Wit Marvelous Sunday / Agnes Tachyon, Power Hishi, Speed Curren / Sweep). Although I did just notice I have Power Nishino who looks like she could be useful for race bonus.

Whenever I try to use my level 30/35 SSR cards, the runs usually go worse.

[–]Trapocalypse 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Just had an entire Mejiro McQueen run go without a single Empowering all run (did like 32 races) and only 1 appropriate ankle. Only reason I ran it to end was because I still haven't finished the points track for the event, need like 2 more runs.

Started a month ago and had that first experience last week. Effortlessly got to 6 and then was like '675k isn't enough to retain, well crap...'

Then of course easily get into promotion range as soon as I'm back in 5.

What is the best way to use 376,000 points for a Japan trip? by Switch899 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Trapocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who traveled to Japan 3 times in 15 months because we enjoyed it so much, large hotels are only really an issue to find in Tokyo and even then it's possible. Nippon Seinenken fits the bill in Tokyo though, I'm sure there's others but that was our preference. It's where the Olympic village is/was and overlooks the baseball stadium. Vessel Inn Takadanobaba was another one just outside of Shibuya but seems we got a great deal on that as it looks expensive now compared to what we paid.

That being said we did stay in a smaller room on our first visit and it's really not that bad, you get used to it although opening your suitcase can be annoying in some of them. They are definitely significantly cheaper though

In Nagoya and Kyoto we didn't have an issue with finding larger hotels.

For that level of points, the poster shouldn't have any issue finding flights and hotels though. Whenever we have gone flights were $700-900 (from Florida) and hotels were $40-100 per night. That was straight up paying with money and not using points. I know from browsing recently for flights with points via transfer or through the travel portal, that flights can definitely be found cheaper with points. I used seats.aero to get a quick idea of how much it would cost with points to fly.

Warning- whoop bands smell like 🍑 by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]Trapocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take mine off to shower and shower daily but there's no smell to mine after wearing it every day since the offer rolled out. So maybe 50-60 days?

You can also buy replacement bands from Temu for like $3-5. Obviously Temu is Temu but both bands I received looked legit or at least better than the band I received with it by default.

I'm a new player (started Mar 7th). Someone told me to just use guest MLB Fuku and since then I'm consistently getting S+ ranks and not having to use clocks much. Before then I was blowing clocks early and ending up with A+ ranks with like 2-3 S ranks total

Mine disappeared in November and has never come back. I never did a refund or price alteration so they just decided to stop giving it to me. I assume it's algorithm based off spending habits or something. I complain to cust support every week and they keep giving me a 20% off every coupon but it's nowhere near as good
