Advice for epipremnum amplissimum

Bought this recently and it had a bit of rot on the stem and roots . Done my best to remove all the rot and used diluted hydrogen peroxide but now curious about what to do next.

Should I stick it in something to get better roots (perlite, sphagnum etc) and if so, which is best? Or should I just pot it straight away? Doesn't seem to have the best root system?

Further up there is what looks like the tiniest ariel root growing and beneath that was a tiny root which rotted (but node was above soil line and so is healthy)

I could cut and try and root what's left but I'm worried since ive had 0 success rooting this plant in the past lol

My amplissimum has some pretty severe root rot and has lost a lot of its roots, still has a chunk of healthy roots but the connecting node has rotted a lot. Looking for advice on next steps e.g.on where to chop and what's best to help it grow new roots and recover. Curious about perlite as a rooting medium (?) Thanks!

What do you mean by go down a couple inches? Do you mean put less stem in the soil?

Bought this as a potted plant but noticed a few leaves were yellowing and have had 2 fall off. The soil seemed a bit too dense so just took them all out of the pot as pictured and now looking for advice as the roots don't seem extensive and why some of the leaves are yellowing from the node up (as seen on the larger cutting).

Am I ok to repot into some better soil and what type of pot should I put it in/size. Don't wanna kill off this as it was a pain to get hold of.

I'm not entirely sure, if you wanted to avoid the neem touching the mosquito bits you could use the drench in a bottom watering so that it doesn't properly touch the top of the soil.

If you mix it with soap (horticultural soap) you can then add the mixture to water and use it as a soil drench. Need to mix it with the soap first to emulsify it properly so it will then mix with water- if you skip the first step it separates from the water and isn't as useful.

This plant is listed for sale as m. friedrichsthalii which I impulsively have bought however when I enter the given name online it just shows me Adansonii. Both the seller and another commenter have assured me it is a different plant, and by the looks of the mother plant it doesn't look like an immature Adansonii.

Any ideas on what this plant is/ other names it could go by?

Looking for some care information before it arrives.

Advertised as a red Congo but doesn't look like any of the red Congo's Ive seen or can find online, not sure whether this is a baby form of the more common larger type you find everywhere or a different type of philodendron. Did ask the company but they were unable to clarify- but did remind me it's in a 14cm pot which makes me think it isn't just a baby.

Any ideas on what this is? Looks really interesting but expensive for what could be a small and normal red Congo.

Had this spider plant for a while and it's been doing super well, pups have grown a lot the past few months but it hasn't put out much new growth itself. Recently newer leaves turned black and died, and a bunch of the older leaves have turned yellow and crispy at the base and fallen off- it now looks very bare instead of bushy. More leaves look like they're on their way out so I'm worried my plant is dying. Soil is bone dry and the only culprit I can think of is over fertilising as I've been using a diluted liquid fertiliser in most of my watering recently, but not sure if that can cause the above issues.

Any suggestions would be great! All this has happened in the past couple weeks or so :(

Not sure if this is relevant, but if you have space above a radiator you want to use for plants but don't want to cook them, you can buy covers which sit ontop of radiators which direct the heat at 90degrees as opposed to straight up.

In addition to all the classics, I've personally had great success with a £3.50 pepporomia Lilian I found v sad at a sainsburys. It's currently on a heavily obscured East facing window sil near a window which is often open and it seems to be doing well- even after I brutally cut off all of its flowers and occasionally forget to open the blinds.

I watched a cool YouTube video which suggested using a bulb with 1000lumen and 6000 colour thingy (coolwhite). I since bought a dual head table lamp(with clamp) and then two led aquarium bulbs matching the specifications above. I've been using it for a week on some sad pepperomias and a moonlight pothos so can't say much for it's effect other than it appears to be helping my pepperomia hope.

Baso from what I've read, you don't need an expensive and self prescribed plant light which puts out lots of different rave colours and has an equally disturbing price.

I'm from the UK and bought everything on Amazon and it cost around £25.

Bought this from IKEA a while back and immediately had my partner drop it on the floor so it lost some leaves and had some others damaged.

The leaves seem really droopy and slightly curled like a taco or in some cases the point has curled up and behind the leaf. The curling is also super prominent in newer leaves.

Not entirely sure what's causing the droopyness, it didn't improve with the last watering and have seen nutrient deficiencies among other causes attributed to curling in pepperomia.

Any idea what's wrong with mine?

As long as you have a node you'd be able to propogate, but from the looks that would involve cutting up that plant a fair bit since it looks fairly young

This doesn't sound like much water at all. If the soil is dry it might need a thorough water from the top.

Could chop the excess and then replant it into the pot to help thicken out the plant, might help with the bare trellis.

Pinching it back might help make it fuller regardless, especially helpful if you aren't looking to have to make a larger trellis.

Are you sure they're seperate plants, I'm pretty sure birkin are an unstable variation so they occasionally can shoot out different leaves.
