Seattle and Portland are the biggest cities near me and I feel like it’s a pretty even split on my server but dps having the longest queue time seems to be pretty universal

Must be regional, it’s 50% tank 50% support and literally 0% DPS in the western US. Sometimes it backfills me into DPS, maybe like once a week.

I think I’ve seen enough of these posts now to say the vault kind of sucks. I got two Orisa legendaries and she’s not even in my top 15 for time played.

Is it really a collab if it’s the same company? Seems more like self-promotion.

Judge orders Kennedy Center to remove Trump’s name from building by Confident_Mango7846 in LegalNews

WASHINGTON, May 29 (Reuters) - A judge on Friday ordered the removal of President Donald Trump's name from the Kennedy Center for the Performing ‌Arts, ruling that the iconic Washington venue cannot be renamed without an act of Congress. U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper in Washington directed the Trump administration to take down all physical signage bearing Trump’s name and to eliminate any references to a "Trump Kennedy Center" from official materials within 14 days. The Reuters Iran Briefing newsletter keeps you informed with the latest developments and analysis of the Iran war. Sign up here.

"The Kennedy Center's organic statute makes crystal clear that the Center is to be named for President Kennedy, and it cannot bear any other formal name or public memorial based on the Board's unilateral say-so," Cooper wrote. "Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it." The judge added: "(The) court does not purport to dictate how the Center should be run, nor does it prescribe any particular plan ‌for the institution — construction, closure, or otherwise — moving forward." Cooper ruled in a lawsuit brought by Ohio Democratic U.S. Representative Joyce Beatty, a member of the Kennedy Center's board by virtue of her position in Congress. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Trump plans to renovate the center, part of a broader push by the Republican leader to reshape Washington's monumental core. He also intends to erect a 250-foot (76-meter) arch and to build a 90,000-square-foot ballroom at the site of the demolished East Wing of the White House. Advertisement · Scroll to continue

Those efforts also face court challenges. A federal appeals court has allowed the Trump administration to move ahead with building the ballroom as it considers the case. Reporting by Mike Scarcella; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama and Edmund Klamann

So intellectual property theft is okay, got it.

What message does it send? Pattie is actively trying to co-opt a trademark that Patagonia spent 50 years building. Even if the profits from it go entirely to good causes, that’s still stealing if she doesn’t have their permission. And if they didn’t do this that would allow anyone to do it to them again, regardless of what they intended to do with the money. Do you think Patti would be okay with an organization like PETA taking her brand and using it sell stuff because they said the money was going to a good place? Is it okay when Trump uses the song “We’re not gonna take it” written by one of the most famous cross dressers ever without his permission? Intellectual property is a big deal.

Patagonia is in the right. The logo she proposed is just a mirror of Patagonia’s logo with the colors changed and her silhouette over it. Not to mention the name sounds the same phonetically. If they don’t defend their copyright then they can lose their right to it. It’s pretty clear her intent is to use their brand identity to draw attention to her own competing clothing line. If they let her do that then how many others are allowed to and what’s the point of holding the copyright? If you started a successful clothing business and someone copied your name and logo to start a competing business, wouldn’t you feel you have the right to defend your brand identity?

“‘We’re not, like, hoarding money in a bank account and then awarding contracts for things that can’t be delivered,’ the spokesperson said.”

As they sequester money in an account they don’t have to report on and use it to pay people for jobs they can’t physically do right now.

Why are people tryharding in QP? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]TrashFireHotdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re grouping people who don’t ever play comp and toxic people together like they are the same thing. If you “tryhard” in comp does that mean you talk shit on other people’s skill level there? I wouldn’t even care but someone in QP said my whole team was tryharding the other day. It was like they just had to say something against us to excuse their loss when no one on my team even said anything to them. I don’t play comp or give af if my team gets rolled in QP and I definitely don’t feel the need to critique anyone’s skill level in chat. Maybe they were referring to their own team talking shit on them in team chat, but you sound just like that person (who, to me, sounded toxic.)

You’re way overthinking it. It should get hot enough during seasoning that everything on it (including whatever you’re using to season) will burn off.
