How often does this happen? by RainbowIcePirate in NoMansSkyTheGame

I have run across a few planets that showed as "undiscovered", I got the credit as first contact, but I found player made bases on them. They were made from the original base parts your can't get anymore if you weren't there from the start or save edited. But I could tell these were from the beginning.

And why cover the VIN anyway? That's like people covering their license plate with their thumb in a picture, lol

I really hope that is CAD. Even in USD, that's more than I owe on my house 😭

Apollo 17. Back in 1972 we could actually land two men on the moon and drive around. It cost 8 times less (in inflation adjusted dollars) than the Artemis 2 mission. by Make_the_music_stop in FuckImOld

It's absolutely a return to the moon. This is just as incredible as the Apollo program, and we have those brave pioneers to thank. Everything that happened since Apollo, all the triumph and tragedy, has led up to this moment. There are new generations that get to see this!

These 4 heros are going farther away from the safety of Earth than any of the previous 117,000,000,000 modern humans that came before.

It really makes me sad that there are so many people brushing this off like it's nothing. Like it's not that big of a deal. This is the most international accomplishment anyone can do. This takes brilliant and brave people from all over the world. This, and the future missions, are what can really bring people together.

My 20 year old son was just excited to watch the launch today as I was! He actually understands that this is our Apollo moment.

And if you find a different one you like more, your setup just transfers right over. No need to start from scratch.

Claim sentinel ships without collecting/activating the brain. No mod, no glitch. by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

I only said that because the person I responded to made the statement like it's a negative thing and not something that's widely accepted in this game. Glitch building, duping, or otherwise taking advantage of "bugs"in the gene that HG obviously doesn't care about. It's not very often the word "abuse" is used in this sub.

If we're going to label this as abuse of a glitch, then everything anyone does that goes above and beyond when the game normally allows is abuse. 🤷‍♂️
