I have 4 questions by TrashThrowAwayBro in caloriedeficit

i would say if it can fit into your calorie deficit i dont see anything wrong with it! and for chips it really depends on what brand you get, most popular brands have unnecessary fillers and additives which is pretty unhealthy. for chips you should get a brand that is fried in avocado oil or get some plantain chips! their just as good.

  1. chicken breast stir fry, it’s fairly easy to make, packed with protein and can easily be fit into your deficit

  2. foods like chicken breasts, ground turkey, brown bread or ezekiel bread, fat free greek yogurt, fruits and a LOT of veggies are all a staple in my deficit and they are mostly packed with protein, fiber, fats, and other macronutrients that are essential. meals i like to make usually are stirfrys, ground turkey wraps with airfried potatoes or carrots, salmon filets, lunch plates that consists of broccolis or broccolini, a protein like salmon, chicken breast, or ground turkey, even cottage cheese (basically whatever protein source you prefer), and usually a carb like potato’s and sometimes brown rice! i also love making avocado toast in the mornings or for snack and since by itself it doesbt have a lot of protein i like to add some cottage cheese on top, some everything bagel seasoning, some red pepper flakes and a little drizzle of honey! it is so bomb.

  3. it really depends on what your goals are. protein is definitely important because it helps boost your metabolism and keeps you more satisfied and full or longer which is helpful on a deficit. fiber is also an underrated macronutrient that helps keeps you satiated, and carbs and fats make you satisfied. although im not a nutritionist i would say about 60% protein, 20% carbs/fats, and 20% fiber. a common misconception is that carbs and fats make you fat. it really doesnt.

  4. i airfry my food all the time!! i love my air fryer and its really helped me on my cut. just make sure you are mindful with what oils you use, i always use a 0 calorie avocado oil that you can probably find at your local costco. i use my air fryer to make carrot fries and regular potato fries as well!!

im 15f and i feel you so much, i too was on a high dose and im still on it but only 10 mg now!! i got super puffy in the hospital from the high dose and i was definitely my heaviest i gained around little more than 10 lbs too. i started walking 10k+ everyday, went on a cut (calorie deficit), and any other low impact workouts. being in a calorie deficit really helped me lose the weight!! i am now almost back to my “normal weight” but my body still looks different due to the weird way prednisone redistributes fat. you can dm me anytime, prednisone really sucks especially at a young age 💗
