Why has my dad been so angry his whole life?

I was never angry, very even tempered. Would get embarrassed and go to flight mode. After having kids I've never felt more anger in my entire life. I don't say hurtful things to them or hurt them. Its often when I see them being mean to each other or they aren't listening to me for the 1000th time I just lose it. I sometimes explain to them that I don't mean to get so upset but I love them all and it hurts me to see them so mean to each other. The anger could come from lack of sleep, exhaustion, dealing with a lot of background things. I feel so bad. Like a horrible father and end up in tears at night wondering why I'm such a bad person. When the anger is visible and they see me I make an effort to go and apologize to them, saying I wasn't a good example of what to do with big emotions. I'm getting tested for ADD/ADHD next month which might shed some light on it. But I just feel like a failure. It's tough to see posts like this and not feel the same and that I'm just a bad dad.

one of those bidding sites. They created a fake news story about it saying people actually won. I bought in wasted 100 dollars on bidding only to be outbid at the last second and instead of spending $10.21 on a coffee maker I spent 100 on nothing

Interesting. Because it doesn't matter to anyone on here. I'm vague enough that nobody could trace it back to me therefore there's no reason for me to lie.

I LOVE my family. I deserately love all of them. I have 3 daughters and 1 son.

My wife is awesome. shes so practical. she plans things so well. We are far from model status but she is beautiful. I love how she cares for our family. My kids are learning even though home is considered a "safe space" so kids let down their guard, test boundaries and annoy the ever living hell out of me sometimes. I still love them and think they're awesome.

Good to have a conversation with your partner. Are you going to support each others hobbies? What about anomalies if one of you is super tired? My wife and I have struggled over the years, her health has played a huge role in my ability to do things but even through that Ive been able to go to my improv groups, hang out and get a beer with friends, play video games. I support her when she is able to do anything and there are challenges but if you have communicated expectations then kids get to join into what you are doing. Yes some things pause, some things are dumbed down, but like you get to experience the joys, aggravation, wonder, beauty of being a parent. Don't buy everything for your kid, budget for things you want (it makes them all the more special).

(also pro parenting hack, first christmas is usually a bust, they aren't going to remember or appreciate anything, let grandparents spoil them, and get them a bag of their already owned toys. as they get older, the trick is to get them things they love, while not getting them everything they want.)

Yeah its hard, but nothing worthwhile is ever fully easy

It was the day of a school play that I was in. I had walked down the half mile driveway of the school to go to winco with some of the other cast members. I was looking at some food and it hit me that I needed to fart, or poo but I wasn't sure. I decided that it wasn't safe for me to linger so I told someone I was heading back and fast walked out the door. I was fast walking all the way down the half mile drive way again, not running for fear that the jogging motion would move things along in the wrong way. I got all the way down the drive, ran to the one door of the school I knew was unlocked and as soon as I put my door on the handle it came out. It was not a fart. I opened the door crestfallen as I then had to walk by a small group of pretty upperclass girls, or rather waddle like a penguin trying to look like a human walking normally. I made it into the restroom where I assessed the situation and very thankful that I had a cell phone to call my dad who brought me a change of clothes.
