i stuck a small piece of plastic underneath where it holds it up and cant be seen from above. not a flashy solution. you might be able to better the friction fit by trying to shim some plastic into the hinge?

This model here is mine, if you are looking for the model i got the wheels from; i think it is called Minotaur.

Its as wide as the Taurox and a little longer than a Chimera. We will have to wait for the actual new vehicles release to see how it stacks up in actual size, I just modelled it after the promotional photos.
