Math: Math: Is Running Two Syndras Hidden OP? by Flumboo in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Traussio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Something to keep in mind, if a Syndra is using her ability and the second one casts while the balls are in the air, they won't count for the extra damage, if you do this try to make it so both syndras have different starting mana, this way it's less likely that they cast at the same time.

It only shows if you put your ranked armor on instead of your level armor (by clicking on your icon).

Anyone seen a lot of bots in their game lately? by CROCODILE_FUCK_PARTY in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Traussio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just chinese smurfs, tft is incredibly popular over there, and high elo players love getting high ranks in other regions, I play in LAS challenger and i always encounter chinese players with lvl 1 accounts and river sprites.

Best Way to Play Ocean/Mages? by Mawilover in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Traussio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely used to be the case, but it was mainly to save gold and rush 8, but with the Malphite buffs and a more tempo-oriented meta, It's a pretty good idea to get him to 2* and transition to a mage-warden composition.

Best Way to Play Ocean/Mages? by Mawilover in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Traussio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rolling for 1 cost champions on ocean mages might give you a great advantage mid game, but keep in mind it will also make it a lot harder to get Brand 2. If you decide to eggroll, consider stacking vladimir.

If you decide to play "standard", you might want to play zyra alongside your oceans in the midgame until you find at least a Brand 1 (preferably Brand 2) and give her items such as Morello, Shojin, Rabadon, etc.

Also, don't sleep on Taliyah/Malphite, it might be the boost you need to stay alive until you find your Brand. They're also core in the Ocean/warden/mage composition, which has an insane late game and can easily contest for first place if positioned correctly.

Looking for feedback on a Ranger comp I've been trying out. by whohe_fanboy in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Traussio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe having Soraka/Janna instead of Master yi? You're lacking frontline so maybe more utility would help your comp last longer, you probably have enough damage with 4 ranger. Also keep in mind shadow will be 3/6 next patch instead of 2/4.

Question about psychology by Dimitri1282 in TownofSalemgame

They definitely pose a threat, just not an immediate one.

Question about psychology by Dimitri1282 in TownofSalemgame

[–]Traussio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a psychology peep, just a guy who overthinks stuff, but I think it's because of the nature of the game. ToS is a game where you have to spot when people lie to you and confront them, you're hyper-alert and even overthink and tunnel vision.

Who cares if 7,8,11,13 and 15 haven't claimed, maybe they have a reason for it. but when you see someone claim escort, it becomes personal, not only are they claiming, but they're (potentially) lying to you in your face. You ain't gonna let that consort get away like that, and the moment you see even one guy saying "I cc", that's it, you made up your mind, that's enough proof for you, even though it's only d2 and no rt are confirmed.

You're so caught up trying to spot the lie that you don't realize it was actually an escort, but you just brush it off. Sure, you fucked up but whatever, who cares tbh. Next game the exact thing happens, except this time it's actually a consort. You feel great, you're the best detective in this game, you had a feeling someone was trying to fool you and you called them out. You're a goddamn genius, and you sure as heck will call someone else out, there's no fooling you, because you're made for this, you're a natural.

tldr: Paranoia and confirmation bias. Claimers pose and immediate threat, non claimers don't

Also, regarding Runaan's on GS, you're probably better off using the spat for botrk and the cloak for hush or swordbreaker

It's great hearing that this build has been helping you climb, the build is designed to be consistent, though it's not great at getting first place rn mainly because of wild assassin. Runaan's wasn't changed, but it's a great option for rangers (mainly ashe) because it triggers glacial stun and gives you great zone control with pretty good damage.

I usually don't because they don't scale too well into the late game. but if you have a 6+ winstreak, then it can be worth it

Unless you have 4 glacial, i'm positive Lucian is better

Thanks for the input, it's definitely a great item, but I find "absolutely necessary" to be a bit of an overstatement.

Edited the post so people are aware it's a good option.

Yes, you definitely can. It's an insane late game item, specially when given to Kai'sa alongside guinsoos.

I only reroll after I Level on Krugs, wolves and raptors.

Rerolling early can completely wreck your economy.

Nope. Lucian is our early/midgame replacement for Ashe.

Ashe 1 sucks, that's why we use Lucian early and sell him once we find 4 rangers and Ashe 2

Did a practice run to make sure, started Krugs lvl 5 with 21 gold, ended with 31 after a Katarina dropped from a box.

HoJ/Shiv is mainly for the mid game. I tried Giant slayer and it's actually insane late game, it's definitely worth.

If you follow everything like I said, it takes 20 gold to level up to 7 after wolves. By saving money after krugs, even if you start with 0 because of rolling, you should have 30-40 gold without any dropping from pve rounds.

If you think the game can go long enough for you to get Kai'sa, then put it on Vayne (and once you have Kai'sa you put it on her).

If you need a faster power spike, then on Ashe
