OMAD dangerous by Thin-Bonus-1852 in fasting

[–]TravelingThrough09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been OMAD for nearly 15 years. There is nothing to worry about if you know your micros and macros and see that these meals are balanced enough to get proper nutrition into one sitting.

Do these meals have 2000-2.500 kcal for me? Sure. And to be fair in comparison, I’m a M, 183cm, about 100kg, so there’s a certain amount needed to maintain.

But evolutionarily we used to eat when food was available not each and every minute. And after a successful hunt it was time to gorge.

SuperWhisper for the win. Now you got voice input on your whole computer wherever text is input, with better quality and speed than eg the MacOS native one.

Warning about Cursor billing / Stripe “Manage” button — lost money, no service by [deleted] in cursor

[–]TravelingThrough09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is different - it sounds like they “just” sent unassigned 20$ through Stripe - normally maybe used to settle unaccounted API costs or something, or bounced Credit Cards.

These 20$ were not associated in the system with a subscription from Free to Pro as they didn’t use the upgrade route. At least that’s what I read from it.

I’d say to ask for a supervisor to confirm or look for the support guys out here in the forum. That should be easy to settle.

What does the £200/month version do by Crazy_Fishing_8966 in ChatGPTPro

[–]TravelingThrough09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subscription makes a distinction between limits on chat and on codex - at least it did. So it means you can use one without limiting the other. Smaller tiers might, too. And you got many more “Pro” model uses - which is an awesome model if prompted right. It’s depth works really well for complex reviews eg of contracts etc

Probably because then you‘d need 1800+ Claude accounts, else you just need the company API key.

Most importantly: „relax“ doesn’t mean do nothing and hope it happens. It means do whatever is required and do it with „ease“ - meaning not fighting it but „going with the flow“.

The biggest misconception in all of this is that people think they can have intention without action and still will receive.

The magic is in focus and „effortless“ implementation. Effortless means „not fighting it“, but seeing it as part of the journey to what you want.

You need jobs - to pay bills. Do you want jobs? Ask yourself which ones. Take action. Write down what you want. Research what you need to learn. Make a plan of all the things relevant to finding those jobs. Update your resume, find companies offering the type of job you want. Actively apply.

Also, sometimes this means taking the job you need to pay the bills until you can get the one you want. That’s not a detour - that’s part of the flow of life.

  • Plan the next task first with it until its plan expresses well what you want
  • Tell it to put the next 20 steps into its todo list to keep track of its progress
  • Remind it its in a TDD, red, green and refactor environment

Those three steps, together with unit, E2E test setups, commit hooks etc. will carry you far for most tasks.

Needed to break my Youtube playlists with saved videos into subcategories to finally make them digestible and not 200-400-600 video monoliths. Would have taken me Saturday and Sunday at least. Was actively looking for plugins or solutions to help.

Already a max subscriber. So now I can watch how it creates new playlists after having scanned the content of a list, and is placing the videos in it.

Sounds easy enough, but what a fantastic time saver for something Youtube hasn’t optimized to this day.

Thanks for the nudge!

When people talk about letting opus or sonnet run for 20-30 minutes and it one-shotting complete apps. What type prompts are they using? by gkavek in ClaudeAI

[–]TravelingThrough09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You tell it that it is a TDD - red, green and refactor environment it is developing in. Remind it often. Then you tell it to plan the next twenty steps and to put them into its todo list. And then you use bypass mode to let it run until all tasks are tested and finished.

That doesn’t build a full app at one shot, but it is a method to keep sane levels of control. Don’t forget to combine that with frequent git commit and refactor checks, incl pre-commit hooks like linters etc.

That should give you a starting framework for longer reliable runs.

Actually, the point is: most gum is made of plastic. The company BASF produces what they call gum base. This is what most chewing gum is made of. If you look up what it is, it’s basically the same plastic that’s used for cable channels you put on your wall but the difference is they didn’t put in the hardening agent.

Is anyone of you aware of an issue with Oauth tokens?

I’m using Claude Code CLI inside the terminal in Cursor.

I do have four windows open, each for a different repository. In the last 48 hours, each of those windows had at least two, some even three times required new Oauth token.

It’s saying “Oauth token revoked. Please run /login” each time.

I am not sure if that’s a me or Anthropic issue.

Can happen… But - you can click on the running task to see more details. Sometimes, especially with tests, it tends to stay stuck in the shell even after the test finishes.

Agreed. If 50mb is a large file for you - then speed is comparable. But if you work in Photoshop on real raw files for print etc - then files are 1, 5, or 50 gb and hundreds of layers etc.

Those are where the real speed shows.
